Hey! That was a Metro getting shredded. 3 cylinder motor, efficient, reliable. They made drop-top versions.

Yugo had a convertible. I actually drove one from Knox to Atl and back for a concert, not a droptop, but the car was good.

I've seen other car shredder videos that had more substantial teeth. Those look like paddles. The one I saw had heavy teeth on a big drum for lots of momentum. Not jamming on some '70's big block would be a challenge, based on what is shown.

My uncle had a manure spreader just like that on his farm. It was the "Congressman" model.

My cousin took an old horse drawn wooden version of one of those things, painted one side for the democrats and the other for the republicans, ran it in a parade in downtown Buena Vista, Virginia. The young ones didn't understand why the old people were laughing so hard.

DAYUM! Didn't know there was such thing as Bobcat Trials! That stuff is hard to do on a bicycle or MC, let alone construction equipment.

Brad, It is way easier than it looks. I was doing that by the end of my first 12+ hour day in one. I think it took less than 15 minutes before I dumped a load of dirt in my lap. Didn't do that again. Now those trials guys, they are amazing. I lost count of how many telephone poles on the ground that I fell off with a motorcycle when I was a kid. I bet I could ride one now, but it hurts too much to fail at this age.

Good Sunday all! Gonna throw a quextion out there... anyone know of a good book or resource about meat grinding? I picked up an electric grinder recently, has all the attachments to do sausages as well. I've scanned Amazon, they do have several books on just sausage making, but the first thing I'm gonna do is make burgers. I can get prime beef tenderloin trimmings for $2 per pound at work, they're awesome.

I'll hit my local used bookstore for sausage making books, but it seems hard to find a general tome on this subject beyond sausage. Throw me some ideas, friends!

sausage making I'll bet that rabbit hole is deep. Wonder if the FoxFire books touched on it?

When sausage comes up, I remember the show where someone got killed and the murderer made sausage out of them to dispose of the body. None of the eaters were the wiser. I wish I could remember the show.

Try America's Test Kitchen, Cooks Country, Food Network, and then dive into the insanity that is tutorials!

Youtube will have multiple sources.

Beware! I've tried to look up advice on many things. My sister and mother tiled the kitchen walls using youtube videos. Worked great, some incredible tips.

But some people think they are smarter than they are. One guy did a 20 minute video on purging air bubbles from the fuel system in a John Deere tractor, and almost every thing he did was wrong. ; ) Fortunately I had figured that out about halfway through, so finished it, then went out and made sure I didn't do anything he showed me!
