Had a nice leisurely ride home. Stopped several times to answer texts and messages, but didn't have a care in the world about doing it. Stopped to smell the roses at a few spots that I just fly by when on the bike. Had a great time. Again thank you Greg. Everybody, Y'all are top notch! Jeremy  | ||

Brad, I took a game in case there was a rainy day. 1 to 4 players can play. Each player gets a handle with a button. Start with button on base of game. Music plays, lights flash. When it stops, first person to hit their button wins. Last person to hit there button looses. The loser gets shocked! If you try to cheat and push your button early, you lose and get shocked. I turned up the voltage and started the game. The shock was so startling that the loser fell out of his chair and onto the floor. He is sitting at the head of the table. | ||

Thank you for the great time guys, I'm sorry for bailing out so quickly Sunday morning, I was behind schedule as it was. I made it home, but a lot later than planned and I was exhausted. I should have just stayed in Suches like I wanted, Sunday ended up sucking quite a bit. It turned out that my tent did get wet inside Saturday night from that storm. Either the rain fly wasn't doing its job, or it was blowing in from underneath it. Some water did puddle up on the low side, so my sleeping bag absorb a bit of it. I was able to sleep on the dry end so that was fine, but every gust of wind sprinkled me with more wetness. To top things off, at 4AM a limb broke off the tree I was camping under and landed in the stream waking me back up. Once I figured out what it was, I was a bit unsettled, as that was too close for comfort. In the morning I went to get out of my tent and there as a decent size branch laying next to my tent, so my fear wasn't exactly unfounded. The drive home was horrible too, multiple major accidents on I-81, I spent at least 3 hours sitting at a dead stop. Traffic is always bad with random accidents on Sundays, but this time was worse than anything I've seen before. Next time I'll just put in to have the Monday off and return then. I'll see you guys next spring. | ||

So, a Frog got too moist?  Shits and giggles. That's why we do this. Plus the riding and the BBQ- heck, if Jim's didn't exist, we'd be OK with grub back at Bill's TWoS. Or just peanut butter and crackers from the place up the street. We could manage a hot dog dinner or a gourmet meal around a fire pit, no? Vern and I spoke this evening at length, he had a large time, even a blast. Although I wasn't there, by proxy I enjoyed it all the same. Hope, plan to see all you aisshats when the spring peepers start up. | ||

I'll see you guys next spring. Froggy, I'll hold you to that. There's no party without you. Charles and I went on a nice ride Sunday. We ran Cherohala Skyway from end to end, and back again. We need to petition for the Tellico Grains Bakery to be open on Sundays and/or Mondays. This slackery will not stand. We took a quick side trip to the Bald River Falls. The picture does not do justice to this natural wonder... least of all the two ugly guys standing in front of it.  A good time was had by all.  Until next time, friends.... fare thee well. | ||

Enjoying it myself, vicariously, through youn's pics and posts- keep 'em coming! Nobody took me up on my offer to trade some homemade goodies (pasta sauce, salsa, jams, jellies, pickled green tomatoes, fresh tomatoes) for a batch of Jim's goodness though. Brad sad... Hey Matthew- didja remember that little side road shortcut back to the Cherohala? It'll save time instead of rolling the 17 miles back to the beginning. If you don't take the main turn to Bald River Falls, you'll see a little road sign on the side of the Skyway, it's called "Turkey Creek". Nothing wrong with running that sweet 2 lane road all day long. The sweet lady that runs Tellico Grains Bakery once told me there's some great trout fishing up there... trout's pretty much my favorite fish.  Oh, and a note to the Jeep nuts here- WAYY on up past the falls the road ends, Jeep/offroading trails begin. No outlet back to the Cherohala. Pretty wild up there, very "Deliverance" kinda place. | ||

Had a great time again this trip, home safely! If you have Sprint cell service, seems you need travel from Two Wheels Campground down Hwy 180 to the Sosebee Cove of the Chattahoochee National Forest for reception. It's a nice place to chat with family back home. ....  | ||

I did note that Fran was the one that went and got the Monkey Shocker out of my room. He never once got shocked by it. He even offered to switch handles with some of the shocked monkeys. Hmmm, I believe alcohol slows reaction times. |
