Guys, If there are no objections, I think I'll join y'all again this year. Added a Ulysses to the garage a few months ago and I think I'll bring it. I plan to be there no later than lunch time Tuesday and I'll be bringing my own accommodations as I did last year (small toy hauler). This means I'll have a coffee pot  as well as a camp stove, charcoal grill, and a gas grill along with all the utensils should anyone desire to cook anything. Mike, it wouldn't be a party without you! You know what... if you wanted to stop off in Sugar Hill GA on your way to Suches, you could haul my bike up there... then I can drive my car up there on Thursday with my camping gear. I can worry about getting the bike home the following week. It really would be a very short detour on your route. It's a big favor to ask, so don't hesitate to tell me to go pound sand.  | ||

Matthew, I'd like to help you out, and I'm not going to tell you to pound sand, but... my trailer is a single wide. There's only room for one bike. However I could (in order of preference): -Stop on the way and pick up your camping gear Or -Give you a ride back home once you get to Suches Or -Drop the trailer off at TWoS and get your bike in my truck Or -Drop my bike off at TWoS and come get your bike in the trailer. Any of those ideas work for you? | ||

I'm down to the last bits of the trees I had cut down. 3 pieces are about 3 feet across. Not much small stuff to stack now. Two's is tents only for next week. As all the cabins and rooms are booked. I have 3 peeps in my room. | ||

I pitch my hammock under a tarp and sleep there. I do, however, also have a tent where I keep my gear. It is available for people to sleep in, as my gear only takes up a small space. OF COURSE FROGGY IS COMING. HE ALWAYS DOES. No pressure.... | ||

For those riding up on Saturday we usually go on a day ride leaving TWOS around 10am and have lunch at Jim's Smokin' Que,returning to TWOS after lunch. | ||

To be a champion at Fire Pit Jenga requires real training. That includes strength training. Train for "JENGA" or go to the gynecologist. I'm training.   | ||

Hell's Bells, RD. Firepit Jenga, trademark Mark, JBH and Vern. It doesn't require strength. It requires stragety. The base of the logs in the fire should be level, as to build a stack of logs similar to Jenga. Build up, about 5 feet. Then build a nice fire in that. Once the various miscreants arrive, inform them of the game rules. instead of non-flammable Jenga, one must place a piece of wood on top the flaming stack, not toppling it. Much more fun than regular Jenga, where you take away pieces. Add wood to the inferno until you win. Bonus points would be the empty screw cap beer cans thrown into the fire. TWoS is a bit too classy for that. Just sayin'. |
