That's good news! As long as there is no other damage, bearings are usually pretty cheap! I wouldn't go to BMW for it though. The bearing will have a number on it. Take it to a real bearing place and tell them you want a replacement as long as it's not Chinese. There's a Japanese bearing company called Nachi. They make great bearings for the price.
