Cool, Glitch! Pics please as you progress. I grew up next to neighbors with a magnificent 3 story log cabin, replete with a little girl's cottage out back. The place is decorated with unbelievable antiques all over. Get this- neighbor sourced the logs from the areas to be flooded by the future Percy Priest lake system before it even happened. Talk about OLD wood. | ||

I got called for Grand Jury some years back, but apparently things were a bit calmer at that time! I called each week for instructions, but never had to even go to Benton. I have to admit, I was a little disappointed!!! (Carol) | ||

Well the Uly has a new O2 sensor and fan in it. It's a shame you can look at that O2 sensor but to change it requires the whole disassembly of the rear of the bike!! Then again, I have the Comfort Kit which makes it a lot harder. The battery is hooked up so I'm plugging in my computer and clearing the codes. I think a shake down cruise will be in order soon. It'll be ready for Buelltoberfest! | ||

Well that was close! I hooked up ECMSPY to test the new fan. While there I decided to test other items. Everything was good until I got to the fuel pump. Now I know the pump was working when I rode it last so I must have done something to the wiring. I checked fuses and all were good. I checked the codes and sure enough I had a 33. At this point I got the wiring diagram out and saw what color wires I should be looking for. I went looking at the harness that gets pulled back to remove the pan and way underneath I could see a connector that wasn't connected. I pulled it out of the bottom and it was really dirty. My guess this hasn't been fully connected in a while. I was able to find the female end that was in the tray under the main harness. It's supposed to be under the tray not the harness. I cleaned the connector and fought it for a while. There's just no room for fingers in there! This is right behind the computer connector. Anyway, I finally got it. I turned on the key and Wa La! Fuel pump noise good! Cleared the codes and read the codes, all good. We're done. | ||

Greg; did you use superglue on the connector? No but maybe the factory should have!  I don't think it clicked when it was factory installed. I've never had it apart there. Since it was dirty at the tip I think it's been loose for a while. | ||

Yessir, I do enjoy hot sauce... As do others, I believe. To be specific, I like spicy sauce. Some that are hot, but not just hot for the sake of being hot. Shock value is not important. Deep, lasting heat is fine as long as there is equal depth of flavor. | ||
