Hey Guys Real quick question. I need to know the swing arm width of an XB or 1125. Local guy to me has a rear stand cheap and trying to figure out if it will work with out me having to drive home at lunch and measure one of the bikes. He says the stand is between 12.5 and 14 at the mounts. Thanks in advance. | ||

I have had to bend or modify most stands to fit an XB. If it is just the 'loop type' without a cross brace you can bend it with a port-a-power or something more creative. Doesn't take much. | ||

Yea its a simple "Loop" style Good point. I Wouldn't want to have to cut and weld but a little tweak or stretch would always be fine.  | ||

Sifo I Actually have a full set of T-rex's right now and they work perfect between the XB or the 1125 Was kicking around the idea of getting a second rear because its easier to move around my garage when the bikes are on a rear stand cause I can arrange them tighter. Hopefully this guy gets back to me cause for 40 bucks its a reasonable deal | ||

Zac4Mac - I have been looking at that as well. How stable is it? Do you feel comfortable walking away from it with out tieing it down? For the record. A Lockhart Phillips stand for a Sv650 fits an XB with out needing to open it up at all. | ||

I have one of those front wheel chocks from Harbor Freight. Bolt it down. | ||

I've got that same Harbor Fright stand, and I've used it on the Roadster since 2015. I use tie downs and it holds the bike pretty steady. I needed something to hold the bike and it was a lot more affordable than a Condor stand. I hate to admit it, but even though it was cheap, it does the job well. I don't regret buying it. | ||

My 1125 is in a corner of my garage on one and my 1190RS lives on one at the shop. They have a tendency to slip when loading, shop has thin carpet, no slip. No need to tie down unless you have it on a trailer, then bolt it down and tie the bike down... | ||

Crusty- I have been Eyeing the Condor stands for years...I have tried a few times at the end of bike week to work a deal with the guy so he doesn't have to take it home and they never budged. Next time I am at Horrible Freight I might end up grabbing one. Need something for the big HD. It nice being able to pack all the bikes closer together in the garage. |
