It's a distraction - SF has too many of their own problems to deal with, and like Mayor DeBlasio (who spent a whopping SEVEN HOURS in his office for an entire month)...they don't have the drive or ability to actually fix the issues there (homelessness, bodily waste in the streets and sewers, needles laying around like toothpicks, the return of medieval diseases due to an ever-growing rat population...), so they have to throw up anything they can think of as a virtue-signal, to distract the Useful Idiots from the truth - that SF (and CA in general) is, quite literally, going down the sewer. | ||

I'd love to see it go through. But I think there's a better chance (and it may not be able to happen, depending on Government "involvement clauses") if the GOVERNMENT sued, instead of just one guy suing. It's MY money (and yours) they wasted on all this shit. How about a class action suit? | ||

It's weird. Snarky, I get. Wish I had the quick wit to pull it off well. Sarcastic, most of the time. ( I just answered my phone right after typing "sarcastic". An 800 number. Answered with "hello probable thief, what can I do for you?" They hung up. Win win ) And I certainly enjoy a good argument. I even enjoy sniping. In a video game. Wish I could come up with the devastating comeback in a timely manner instead of 3 days later. What I don't get is the angry drive by "you're a Nazi" for no rational reason. Do they think telling you you are racist is devastating to you? Sadistic pleasure in hurting you? You know they are lying. Unless you really are racist, like Just Joe. Then I can see you getting upset. There's gotta be a chapter on this sickness in psychology books. | ||

And if it's perverse pleasure in confusing someone, they suck at it. I've made 2 acre crop circles to amuse passing aviators. I know a guy, SCA, who for an arts & sciences competition, researched Roman coins. Carved a replica stamp, mixed authentic bronze, indistinguishable from original without radiological analysis, hand stamped dozens, in the traditional and authentic manner. ( M.I.T. engineering student ) I've got one. It's really good. He was walking along the Charles river, brisk fall day, in his warm medieval cloak, and found a handful of these coins in his pocket. On a whim he threw them in the river. Someday, there will be a scholarly paper "proving" the Romans reached Boston soon after the reign of Licinius. Probably long after we're all gone. My response to being called a racist is to just say "So?" Usually while rolling a news paper just in case. I enjoy the callers that say the are calling in regards to my insurance bill. I tell them my bill is paid and I do not recognize any validity in their statement. They hang up. I did open a water tower in the desert and grew an oasis in the late 70s. If you water the desert, it will grow. If they aren't speaking evil of my deeds, I normally let them think what they want. | ||
