Tootal, go to autozone, bosch 12014, should have it in stock... biggest pain is pulling the fan for access

Or

Just ignore it, I've replaced my O2 sensor everytime I've had the symptoms you're experiencing, about every 25k miles...of course, I've ridden at least a few thousand miles with the intermittent CEL before ive fixed it and had no issues.

The TT races were very good, last night. It rained later, during the wee hours, but the sun is shining here and the concrete around the pool is dry at 9:45. We're heading out to the track now. I'll report more later. I've got a bunch of pictures, but I won't be doing anything with them until I get back to Cheviot.

I can't say enough good things about all of my gracious hosts this weekend. Crusty, Carol, Jerry.........you were all outstanding!

The BBQ was very good.
The Saturday night TT race was absolutely fantastic.
The camaraderie was nothing short of awesome.
The motel .......had potential.

Again, many thanks to my fantastic hosts and great seeing old friends and meeting some new ones.

I'll reiterate what's already been said:

Jerry and Carol are wonderful hosts, and a good time was had by all.

I'm already trying to scheme out my plan to come up there for Labor Day. If my mom is not in town for her birthday, then I'll be able to make it. Most likely solo, maybe on the bike or maybe in the Spyder.

Time will tell.

Again, thanks to all involved.

IF I am unable to make it for Labor Day, then I will make my tickets available to anybody who can get there.

Just to keep it in focus; Labor Day weekend is coming. There's going to be two Miles - the rescheduled race from May and the regular Labor Day Weekend Mile plus a Short Track Singles National. As it gets closer, I'll post up more information.

Just to put the caliber of racers into perspective; in 2009, I went to the Moto GP races in Indianapolis and the Indy Mile that was being held on Saturday night. Kenny Roberts took the TZ 750 Flat Tracker that Doug Schwerma built out for a couple of "Parade" laps. Roberts went right up by the haybales and blasted around the track at a very high rate of speed with the bike sideways. Afterwards, the guy calling the race asked Valentino Rossi if he wanted to take the TZ out for a lap and Rossi refused. His comment was that someone should build a Mile dirt track in Italy.

Marc Marquez was beaten on a short track at the Superprestigio by Brad Baker. While some folks sneer at the lowly Flat Trackers, I've known of several Flat Trackers who went on to win Roadracing championships, I know of no Road racers who won a Dirt Track National, unless they had been dirt trackers previously. The racers in the Main Event at Springfield are some of the most skillful motorcycle racers on the planet. If you don't believe me, just ask Troy Bayless.

It was definitely Dirt Tracking that made Kenny Roberts so good on the road coarse. I met a French racer who raced against Roberts. He told us how they laughed at this dirt tracker as he hand carved his tires. Later they crapped their collective pants as he went around them and stayed there!! His comment was, "I've never seen anybody slide around the corners on a road coarse before!!"

OK, kids; If you're planning to attend the rescheduled Springfield Mile on Saturday, August 31, here's a little more information.

The Short Track has been rescheduled and is going to run on Friday night, Aug. 30. It's held in the same arena that the TT was in. The May Mile will be on Saturday and the Labor Day Weekend Mile will be on Sunday.

If you've never been to the Mile, you're in for a treat. The heat races can be exciting, but the 25 lap Main goes way beyond what you'll see in the Heat races. I'm really hoping for sunny weather for the whole weekend.

If you're planning to attend the Sunday race and don't have a ticket, I suggest you buy one pretty soon. The seats are already selling and section NN is starting to fill up. As usual, I'm sitting in Section NN Row 1 Seat 1 (I bought my tickets a long while ago).

I was pretty disappointed in the Route 66 Motel, and I'm going to be tent camping at the campground in the fairgrounds. I think Ourdee and I are sharing a campsite with electric, and there will probably be room for another tent or two. If a few people want to camp, we can get a couple of sites and split the cost. It's (I think) $25/00 per night for a site w/elec. That beats the hell out of what the motels are charging.

Anyhow, I just thought I'd let everybody know.

If I'm reading this correctly, the tickets I'm holding are for Saturday's race, correct?
