Everytime I get on Badweb, a file claiming to be from YouTube is downloaded on to my phone. Is/has anyone else had this problem? To make sure it was only happening when I come to Badweb, I completely wiped my phone. Started all over with a full factory reset. I then went to MSN, Facebook, and Yahoo with zero downloads happening. I come to Badweb, and bam - downloaded a file named: 4jZhBrHdU3s.swf From: www.youtube.com The phone is a Samsung Galaxy J7 Crown. Any thoughts? |

Never happens to me. Does it happen on a PC for you too or just the phone? |

I don't have a PC, regular internet or wifi at my house. Just the phone. |

I did a full factory reset. All settings were back to factory settings. I found a way to stop the downloads. I went to my Samsung Internet App, and denied storage access permision. Problem is, this seems like more of a bandaid fix. If I do want to download something I'll have to manually turn the permission on. |

What page on Badweb are you going to that this happened on? |

The President Trump page I believe started it off. But now even after I delete the file off my phone, as soon as I go to the quick board it downloads another file if I don't keep the app storage permission off. |

SWF is a shockwave file. Perhaps your phone is telling the website that it's a desktop. Have you set your phone's browser to "mobile view"? Youtube uses SWF files to work. If it's offering your phone a video file and your phone doesn't have shockwave (It doesn't), the phone will just save it. Youtube has a mobile application for this reason. |
