I have been using mine now as a man-purse/lunchbox for a long time.

It's finally crapping out.
Anyone know of a thing with simmilar features?

All of the ones I just saw on amazon don't have the belt that goes around your belly that keeps it from flapping on the highway.

We still use the one we have all the time. Our son took off with the other one. They are a great bag!

These days I use Maxpedition bags, they have sling messenger bags that work similar and come in all kinds of sizes depending on what you want to carry, and many of them have that gut strap.

This is the one I use - https://www.maxpedition.com/collections/edc-everyd ay-carry/products/mongo-versipack?variant=27914122 897

Something like the Wolfspur is probably closer in size to the Buell Slingbag https://www.maxpedition.com/collections/edc-everyd ay-carry/products/wolfspur-crossbody-shoulder-bag? variant=26648211976

I have a few different Buell bags - some are new. If you could send a photo, I might have the one you’re looking for.

If its the actual messenger bag, I'd say look to Timbuk2 for a replacement.
They do have the waist strap option

Mine's not the sling bag, actually not sure what it's called but I love it.

It was gifted to me by Jerry & Carol while we were guests in their home recently.

It has a small tear on the bottom but it runs perpendicular between two seams and does not seem like it wants to spread. The pockets are well thought out, best laptop bag I've had so far.

For me it's perfect - carries my laptop, tablet, kindle, phones, pens, power cords, papers, mouse, ham radio, gloves, knife, fire steel, paracord, fidget cube, and still has a couple small stash-sized pockets left available.

I've heard other people say the same thing about that bag.

Natexlh1000,

I have several of these.
I use them for everything from guns and range gear to day packing and lunch.
They also have a pocket for a 2 liter water bladder.

It might work for you.

I have the sling bag if that is the back pack one that came with the camel bag. What a hoot the day the valve broke releasing ice water down the crack of my ass on a 95 degree day!

I have that side bag too. Great for my muzzle loading kit. Love them both.

I think I got you that bag, Vern, IIRC. I might still have mine somewhere in this chaos of a house. I liked it, but I've always preferred a 2 strap well built backpack if I HAD to use one whilst riding. Generally I'd rather not have anything except my jacket on my back on the MC.

Maxpedition Monsoon is a close aproximation, but they are tactical(ish?) looking with Molle strapsand might get you more looks than a black or navy blue bag would. They are very long lasting and built tough.

Sorry about the radio silence. It's been a bit mental on my end.

But yeah, my murse is the "own the corners" sling that R.D. showed above.

All zippers have failed now.
In the past, I stepped on the female end of the buckle, snapping it. I fixed that with 24AWG bus wire and epoxy.

I can't rationalize anything that Froggy offered as they cost too much for a glorified lunchbox.

I'll swing by wallymart and check out that "range bag" today I think.

Yea it is pricey but it is well built. Before this one I had a knock off version from a flea market but it fell apart in a few months, while the Maxpedition has been holding up great, I've even ridden with it strapped to me many when I didn't want to bother with real luggage. They do go on sale frequently, I got the big one I linked above for $136 on Amazon in 2014.
