Anybody interested in this stuff? I've got 178 cartons (6764 pounds) of it.

Here's the stuff sitting in my warehouse.

I have spoken with a few people who are knowledgeable about such things, and my understanding is this product is worth about $50 per pound.

I'll take $10 per pound and ship it free anywhere in the 48 states.

1000 pound minimum purchase for free shipping.

What say all of you?

That is some interesting material there. I'm staying out of this one.

What's it used for? I'm not buying; I'm just curious

This particular product was supposed to end up as carbon fiber brake pads for Airbus A380 aircraft.

It could be used to make super high performance brake pads for any application. Or any kind of carbon fiber product of super high quality and strength. However if you were to make something with a greater surface area than the size of the individual pieces, you would have an overlapping patchwork, so it would not give the continuous grain of a single piece.

Matthew- get in touch with Charlie (New12R). He does CF prosthetics, maybe he could use that stuff or know who could. Good luck, post up as to the solution.
