anyone here know of ANY surviving Baaracuda 2 prototypes? I keep hearing rumors that some survived the crusher. But so far no substantial proof. |

I searched "Baracuda" here, but stopped looking, but you might have more patience than I. |

Glitch, is that picture of survivor, or just an older pic of one of the prototypes. Looks like an old pic. Just asking. |

I got more on my old puter. Some of them were from a person I know that worked somewhere. I was sworn to secrecy as things weren't quite all buttoned up yet. Feels funny to think of posting those pictures, even though they're irrelevant these days. |

With photos from a few more angles we could recreate that sexy bodywork in CAD using photogrammetry. Then we could make flimsy 3D printed copies in ABS, and sell thousands of them to the EBR owners who want a Barracuda replica to give the finger to Harley for killing the bike based on a race winning design they could have sold like hot cakes and..... never mind, (I go off in the weeds a lot). |

Not sure I would call that wonky looking radiator cover, "sexy". I always thought the biggest issue with the water cooled Buells were the HUMONGOUS nostrils on either side of the bike. They do look a bit less obnoxious in person though. |

What about to us Buell owners who want a Barracuda replica to give the finger to Harley? I'd love to have a B2. |

I know these have all been posted before, but the B2 was a sexy, ground-breaking motorcycle. IMHO, it's well worth remembering.
I acquired a couple more, don't think I'm supposed to post them online. If I could choose between an EBR or a B2, having not ridden either of them and based solely off appearance, it'd be a hard choice. |

Part of the problem/idiocy of the FQmoco is they are preoccupied with appearance. All else comes second. Now, KTM does a great job on performance, but all they know is origami. Erik had it right. No one at the Moco knew what the heck to do with the alien. Just kill it, whether it held the future of the company or not. Dang if I should just write an essay, RIP. |

Just the pic, I forget where I found that. I believe one of the engineers who had contributed significantly to the B2 had that and a couple other images on his personal webpage or something. |

Glitch, that must have been DAYS before the shutdown announcement. It has the interior ductwork installed, along with the “buttstop” behind the seat. I made the tooling for those, and several other parts on that bike. They were all molded at New Berlin plastics. |
