1. Tell your leftist representatives to vote to fund the Border Patrol, and their detention centers, so they can staff and stock the facilities to take care of the flood of illegal invaders. 2. Tell your leftist representatives to vote to increase penalties / instantly deport illegal invaders, which will a) reduce the number of people in the facilities in the first place, and b) help to repel future invaders. If they think "I'll get caught and jailed or sent back" instead of "when I get in they'll fall all over themselves to suck up to me / provide for me"...the incentive will be greatly reduced to even try and enter in the first place. We aren't drowning them in the Rio Grande - we aren't forcing them to do this - THEY are choosing to do this to themselves. Why? Because they think they can get away with it. If they decide it's too difficult or dangerous to invade OUR country, maybe they'll use that energy to try and fix their OWN countries. It is not America's responsibility to house the planet's homeless. 3. Tell your leftist representatives to vote to fund the border security wall, to keep out the illegal invaders who don't get the concept of "I'll go to jail or get sent back". People are illegally crossing our border by the hundreds of thousands per month, thousands every day, and presenting themselves to our border patrol. What would you have them (border patrol) do? Emotion solves nothing. Our President and Republicans in congress were warning about this crisis five months ago and asking for funding to address it, but in response were mocked and ridiculed by the Trump-deranged. Then the Trump-deranged called it a "manufactured crisis." Now the Trump-deranged are screaming about the crisis and trying to blame it on Trump. They finally authorized funding for humanitarian efforts, but continue to block legislation to end the ludicrous situation that causes the crisis and results in catch and release and incentivizes child trafficking. Hey, Wisco... I propose an experiment, to be conducted by you, and funded by me. This experiment involves you traveling to Mexico without a passport or any form of ID. Those items will be given to me before we cross the border. I'll give you $10,000 in cash - spend it in Mexico however you like - and I'll follow you in so that I can observe what happens to you and I will report back to BadWeB. Your goal is to reach Oaxaca. I will, of course, have proper documentation for myself so that I can actually continue on my way when one of the following happens: 1) You are arrested and have a 50/50 chance of anybody ever hearing from or seeing you again. 2) You are robbed, abducted and murdered - not necessarily in that order 3) I can't think of any other options, though there may be some sort of mitigating factor that delays #1 or #2 by a day or perhaps two days. DNA testing has begun at the border, and is showing something like 60% (I think? doublecheck me...) of these children are NOT biologically connected to the people claiming to be their parents. Think about it. You're a parent. You'd do ANYTHING for your kid. Would you put them on a near-biblical march through the desert, to invade a neighboring country illegally? Or would you, as a responsible parent, leave the kid with family so you can access that country on your own...get established (legally)...and then send for your child? Safely? You're a parent. You'd do ANYTHING for your kid. I'm a father of 2. My living situation would have to be extremely dangerous for my children for me to even think about trying to illegally enter a foreign country, and put my children at risk to do so. That's one of the major problems with modern America. It's pretty safe and cozy to break the law. Whereas on the other hand, you can be sued and have to pay through the nose even when you have done nothing wrong. I get it no system is perfect, but our legal system could use a wake-up call. I don't know what that would take. And I'm not sure I want to know. | ||
