Literally. According to the letter from the editor in the latest copy of Motorcyclist magazine to land in my mailbox, the magazine will be no more......at least not in print form. Apparently there will still be an online version. I know a lot of people don't like the MC rags, but I still enjoy them. I was worried a year or so ago when Cycle World and Motorcyclist came under the same ownership....... And now it has happened. I for one will miss this magazine. |

Relatively 'old news' Depending on where you get your news from apparently... Sorry, couldn't resist. I do enjoy hard copies of 'stuff' as well. What is music without the CD, case and the artwork? |

1313, I was thinking of you the other day. I was watching a documentary on Apollo 13 and didn't realize that lift off was at 1:13 Houston time or as the military says, 13:13! Doomed from the start! On subject, I haven't had a motorcycle magazine in years except for the AMA's mag and it's so thin now it doesn't sit in the John for very long. I used to have Rider, American Rider, Cycle and the AMA. After years of reading them I started to see so much repeat I quit. It was also about the same time I got my Uly. After that I wasn't really interested in what else was out there! |

Cycle World went to a quarterly print magazine a few months ago. Yea, it looks cool, but nothing in it is new by the time you get it, and it has the same or less material than the old monthly format. |

I didn't care for the format change both Cycle World and Motorcyclist went to or the quarterly delivery,so I stopped my auto renewal. |

I'm still getting Cycle World and Rider. I doubt Cycle World is going to last much longer. When my subscription is up, I don't think I'll renew it. |

There's still Motorcycle Consumer News, right? I used to enjoy them, but haven't renewed my sub in a good while now. Always good content. |

I occasionally pick up a copy of " Motorcycle Classics". I've been thinking about a regular subscription to them. |

MCN was my favorite. I too have not subscribed for some years tho. It was/is an expensive magazine due to the no advertisers rule. Roadracing World is the only moto magazine I subscribe to now. (Message edited by fresnobuell on July 02, 2019) |

I forgot about MCN! I even met Fred Rau at a Rider magazine rally many years ago. I loved it for a long time but it too seemed to repeat a lot and the test were not as comprehensive as they used to be. I'm sure time is money and they didn't have the money. I even kept all my old issues for years just for reference but finally had them recycled. |

Rider magazine was a refuge for me while I was in prison... along with sheaves of pages of BadWeB printed out and mailed to me by Joanne Lighton. I haven't bought a magazine since 2007. |
