Good looking Eskimo, RD.
Dead Bill had one, Snow White.
I buried her in his back yard with some of his ashes.

I have to get a new roof and flooring soon.
I'm watching you...

American Eskimo Spitz was the runner up when I was looking at dog breeds before I chose a Basenji. West Highland Terriers too.

I can't tell you how nice it is to have a dog that doesn't bark. Those AES dogs are awesome though. Surely you could pack her down in one of those Bags Of Holding to come play with D'Ogee and Rocky...

She is a people dog and wants to attack any other dog because she thinks she is the boss and they are just dogs.

Dry ice.

The tiles will pop right off.

Had to do a 1200 square foot basement many many moons ago. Took me 2 days to get less than a third of the way with a power chisel, then a friend told me about dry ice and I was finished in less than a day. Just make sure there is adequate ventilation or someone to wake you up...

I went to the local rental store. They had something years ago. They rented it to some one and it broke. They never replaced it. I got out my compressor and air chisel. The lineman's hammer and chisel is way faster. I tried icing it with H2O ice. Not cold enough. Every time I sit on the floor I get glued down.

" Every time I sit on the floor I get glued down."

Kinda feel like a fly on flypaper?

Why not call a pro flooring contractor, pick their brain? Maybe some kewl Youtoob vid or something? Google?

Heck, I thought the dry ice was a good idea, but why so much $$$?

The dry ice would work great on regular peel and stick. The glues and primers on this concrete are crazy. The CO2 price caught me way off guard. The floor shouldn't be that tacky. It glues gown my shoes, knee pads, and pants.

Finally got the peel and stick up. Next is the linoleum in the kitchen. But, in the mean time, father-n-law is in hospital for possible stroke, I'm feeding their dog this morning, returning mother-n-law's rental car, going to pick up deep freezer an hour away, then feeding their dog again prior to unloading freezer.

At 2:00AM my Dad passed over to the other side. Please, say a prayer for those he left behind. He was a good man. He did well with the cards he was dealt. I got to have a conversation with him recently and through it could tell he had decided it was time. He told me he didn't want to go fishing. He had advanced dementia and suffered two UTIs a couple of months apart. He quit accepting fluids and food last week. In the past month he told those around him that he was sitting on the bank with them fishing at the pond. I didn't tell them that he said he didn't want to go fishing. His wife and him still acted like a couple of teenagers in love. He had a full life producing two sons and four daughters. He had an exchange student and I lost count of his foster kids. During his life you didn't stay in a hotel when you visited him, and no one went hungry. The first time he ever talked about his Dad and Mom was during my last visit with him. He strived to be like his Dad. His Dad owned a grocery store and would often send him to deliver groceries to people that couldn't pay for them. Grandpa would tell him to never deny anyone their dignity.

I just got back from a 60 mile ride with a few good curves to blow out the cobwebs. It is a nice sunny spring day out there. I'm going to go sit outside with a cup of coffee.

Prayers up for you and yours. Also, Greg and his just departed Diane.

Dang but that hammock looks comfortable. I thought that was the design you'd chosen. I need to break out mine.
A restful nap in the wind... ZZZZZZZZZZZZ ZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

Guessing that was your Dad's Adirondack chair?

I love seeing signs every now and then... "Gone Fishing".

Blessed Be my friend.

It is my wifes chair.
I remember his hammock. Sat on a hill in East Tennessee under a big shade tree.

That's why I love East TN. Scads of great shade trees. Just find two, work two knots, settle in...

You'd told me where, seems north of here but I don't remember. Tazewell, Cumberland Gap? Lots of great places out in the Tri-cities area.

Put some more time into the floor last night. Taking up two layers of linoleum in the kitchen.

Trick is to score all the way through. Then pour boiling water on it a few times letting it steep.

Then knocked out the rest of the kitchen floor stripping.
