Laurie and I are closing on our Prescott house tomorrow. Check out the Prescott Business Journal in the link below and you will see the data that reinforces our decision to move here. Notice the average temperature table on page 5. Oh, did I mention there are 400 miles of trails nearby? Al Lighton just buzzed the entire region for two days on his Uly. I would post photos but the Badweb server bitches about too many pixels even though I compressed the jpg image. https://issuu.com/raxxdirect/docs/prescott_ed2018- final_52518?e=9349120/61705834 |

Prescott is such an attractive place that even the 9/11 terrorists came here to learn how to fly. |

Before I retired I was looking, out of curiosity, where I could retire. Prescott was one of two places I found interesting. I liked the idea of being in the South yet at elevation so it's not 120 degrees in the Summer. The other place was Alpine Texas. I need to take a Fall ride and visit both places! Enjoy it! It looks like a nice area. I still want to take the Uly to Crown King, looks like a challenge! |

Prescott is such an attractive place that even the 9/11 terrorists came here to learn how to fly. I'm told it's one of the easiest places to learn to fly because it's almost impossible to get lost in the air. It's a great choice if you just want to learn some basic skills and skate by on things like navigation. Congratulations on the new place! |

Congrats Tom, Prescott is on my short list for when I might retire in five or so years. I was almost retired two years ago but I missed ONE lotto number. SUCK!! |

I got "retired" nine hours before my 66th birthday. So far, it is the best thing that has happened to me. Laurie retires on June 14, so we are both good to go. |

Dang that's nice! Given the roof area, I'm surprised there are no solar panels. Congrats! In the meanwhile, I'm just sitting here in Mur-vil TN polishing my little turd of a house. I'm a Tennessee boy, born, raised and rooted here. Visited AZ back when we stayed with friends in Laughlin NV. Oatman, AZ was lots of fun, lots of wild burros. |

There are two separate driveways. The lower one makes ThunderDome's look like a wide flat EZ access. Even Lighton had trepidation when he saw it. |

Surprisingly, residential solar is not big in AZ. It is both political and due to relatively low power rates. I haven't received a bill yet so I might be in for a rude surprise. I will be investigating solar though but we have to settle down first. |

Whiskey Row is 2.1 miles from Casa Reindog. Walk downhill to there, get thrashed, Uber home. Prescott Police's idea of probable cause is that you were parked near Whiskey Row. |

There are two separate driveways. The lower one makes ThunderDome's look like a wide flat EZ access. Even Lighton had trepidation when he saw it. Our driveways at the 'Dome tended to separate the men from the boys. Yours sounds like a drunk test. We miss the ThunderDome; it was a most excellent place to host a gathering of fiends...er, friends: Impending sunrise at the ThunderDome, Isabella Lake, California, on the occasion of the inaugural OktoberFast ride, circa 2003. A few moments after the above pic was taken Reindog appears, fresh from passing out on our front deck the night/morning before. Dude, you snore like a buzzsaw. Dawg. And a moment later, Dear Mr. Reindog, you captured this faBuellous glowing-in-the-sunrise photo of me 'n D: This photo has occupied a place of honor in our home ever since. Denise, I'm happy to report, looks just the same these days, some 16 years later: Me, on the other hand? The years have not been kind... |

Congratulations! nice move, you can probably buy two homes for what you sold your California home for No you have no excuse for not making SpringFast anymore since it's in your back yard, almost I'll be in Alpine, AZ on May 18th for a few days, I'll have to head a little further east and visit with you sometime. Glad to see you are living the dream, my friend. And Ferris, you are quite true when you state that Denise has not aged at all. Maybe you should try some of them beauty secrets. For that matter, I think I probably could use them also |
