Sad part is....it's true. Society is so angry, the default assumption is that something bad is happening. No benefit of the doubt anymore.

John McCain bashing appears to be over, additional North Korean Sanctions will not be imposed, White House not complying with any Congressional Oversight requests for information, Mueller Report delivered.
Should be a busy weekend.

And "NO MORE INDICTMENTS". I.E. the most US politician ever, and no crimes connected to him. Pretty damned clean as far as I can see.

Territory taken in defensive war, after being attacked from it in 1967. Thus under Israeli control years longer than under Syrian, when it was taken from Israel by G.B. And given to a Brit ally tribe.

Syria has invaded multiple times through the Golan.

Trump, once again, throws the stupid away and acknowledged reality.

Next? Kurdistan? War with Turkey? Turkey out of NATO and in thrall to Putin? Expect war over the oil fields. And, if course, useful idiots claiming we are stealing the oil. I wish.

Rude stuff to say about the Prez.

I'm ok with that. I flat out think he's a coward, because I don't recall him speaking out against the criminal acts of the Previous Prez, and his public collusion with Vladimir Putin, asking for a quiet time until his reelection, after which he pay off Vladimir with, obviously, treason. You can argue that giving Europe to Vladimir isn't, because Obama is an idealist and Europe deserves it, so betraying NATO and Western Civilization is cool.

Don't recall Oswald complaining about selling guns to drug cartels to justify lying to take civil rights, either.

But I do understand that if Oswald had been brave 3 years ago, he'd be broke and unemployed. And it takes zero guts to jump on the crowded Hate Trump freight car.

But he's dishonest. I'll grant ignorant, stupid parrot, he's still lying.

I don't see any evidence Trump is racist except the claims without any evidence from the Klan Party. Or is criminal a race? I suppose he might have said rude things about Mexicans that aren't criminal trespassers and serial felons, but you'll have to give me a quote. Ann Coulter did, so feel free to pick on her.

Sexual predator? Is that the locker room complaint that beauty contestants will have sex to win? Or that rich guys get away with rude behavior? Because that's rude but honest talk, not serial sex abuse like, say, Clinton or all those Congressmen.

Yeah. We elected Trump. Consider the alternative. A very ill, old woman, who committed multiple felonies of evidence destruction and charity fraud, while being bribed by multiple foreign countries and rich domestic Arms companies. And openly hated half the population. With a lifetime record of threats and cover ups of sexual abuse. And a closeted gay/bi?

Pretty much a dead solid blackmail risk, and alleged murderer!

That or.... A loudmouth jerk?

Hmm. Hate criminal with brain damage? Tv jerk? No other choice?

History shows that we chose wisely.

After 8 years of "get used to being poor, it's the New Normal" the economy, and employment, much improved.

Instead of betraying NATO, we demanded they grow up & pay up. Sure, Chancellor Merkel resents it, but with her record, her disapproval is a ringing endorsement.

Instead of cooperation with Obama's besties in ISIS to sell oil, they just lost their last human shields & territory. Obama's Wars aren't over, by a long shot, and Vladimir has troops in Syria and is in bed with Turkey's King For Life, pulling them from Europe, but that was inevitable short of war or assassination.

We pulled out of the Paris Climate excuse For theft agreement, which was basically just paying Danegeld for no reason. Win, there.

So.... Sorry Oswald. You lie. You're a coward. And I don't watch your crap either, so I hope your ratings suck and you get fired. You can always hire some personal trainers to beat you up, ask around.

In short a huge nothingburger.

Or to look at it another way, a 2 year attempted coupe, using our own government agencies as a weapon against a dueley elected President where there was never a crime to be investigated. Now that this fiasco has concluded, it would be awesome to see the "investigators" brought to justice. That's probably the stuff dreams are made of though.

But that's my opinion. Here are facts.

The only issue with "going after Hillary" is...the RINOS have no stones. Zero spine. They're pansies; snowflakes with no motivation to do anything that might offend someone, or make even a ripple in society, nevermind making waves.

And true GOP/Republicans are few and far between, with no organization or coordination. They can't make anything happen, and even if they could, they wouldn't be able to see it through because they're so disorganized.

I hold - unfortunately - about zero hope that we'll ever see Hillary prosecuted.

I'm about 180 out from you on this. Based on my read, I think she - and many others - will pay for their alleged crimes.

But first, from a tactical standpoint, we had to get the attempted coup (and, concurrently, the numerous obstruction traps) out of the way.

And, in the process, open yet more American eyes as to whom the real perpetraitors are.

We haven't won just yet.

But we're winning (thank you, Mr. President).

Justice comes, IMO.

Stories have been coming out for some time now hinting Mueller’s final report might leave audiences “disappointed,” as if a President not being a foreign spy could somehow be bad news.

Openly using such language has, all along, been an indictment. Imagine how tone-deaf you’d have to be to not realize it makes you look bad, when news does not match audience expectations you raised. To be unaware of this is mind-boggling, the journalistic equivalent of walking outside without pants.

I can't agree with that more. The MSM has pretty much been cheerleading the idea that we have a President that had made secret deals with Russia, that were counter to the interests of our country. I have no idea how anyone can take them seriously at this point. Just as bad, we have our own citizens, also cheerleading for this to be true. We see it right here on BW (Steveford, just Friday). I can't imagine how it must feel to actually be disappointed that there is no evidence that your President is crooked. Very strange times we live in!

I'm on the cynical "A Clinton will never go to jail" side of this one.

I admit, there is a dark side of me that would be fascinated by the number of "suicides" and "death by natural causes" ( aka shot themselves in the back 15 times ) that would litter the streets of D.C. if there was an actual effort to gather evidence to prosecute the Clintons.

I mean besides the tens of thousands of felony counts of destruction of evidence, since the head of the FBI just flat out announced that was a well known fact. I'm talking about witnesses, and paper trails for hundreds of millions in bribes, foreign and domestic, that Sec State Clinton received while in office and on the campaign. We know she got bribed. But to prosecute, the politicians have written the laws such that you basically need a signed confession from multiple parties to get a prosecution.

All those staffers, terrified that they will be called to testify. Seriously, what's the count of "Worked for Clinton, died in prison" people? 6? 15? This is the kind of thing there should be an outlaw web page on. But you'll never find it with Google.

to be fair, I should post the rebuttal to the notion that working for the Clintons is any more or less deadly than any other crooked politician.

Unfortunately all I found was Snopes, and they are know to be biased. ( And obviously terrified that Hillary will have them tortured to death and burned alive in the desert. ; ) )

It's a little over the top to insist that Snopes calling you a liar is like getting absolute proof that you are honest. A little.

Related to above, not my words:

quote:

TV producers work for TV stations, which must get their broadcast licenses renewed by the FCC every 8 years, with 1/8 = 12.5% of all stations renewing their FCC licenses each year.

There are over 1700 TV stations and over 15,000 radio stations in America, so each year over 2000 stations (TV + radio) need to renew their FCC licenses.

Many of these will be in major markets, and many will be owned by or affiliated with major network purveyors of FAKE NEWS, including ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox, Sinclair, Tribune Companies, etc. etc.

https://amgreatness.com/2019/03/24/did-trump-reall y-do-all-that/

Local talk show ran the press conference live. The Southern New York prosecutor is out for human sacrifice. Considers this a crime against lawyers, and the language in the indictment is just shy of calling for burning at the stake. Avenatti is in custody and warrants have been served in NY & CA for the contents of home & office.

A 3 day process. Amazing!

Here's the hilarious time line.
Day 1. Avenatti threatens Nike, who immediately call the Justice department to say they are being blackmailed. The FBI has Nike call for a meeting the next day so Avenatti can repeat his "offer".

Day 2, the world's smartest lawyer goes back to Nike, and in a recorded by the FBI meeting reiterated his blackmail. Part was a deal where Nike would hire Avenatti for an "internal investigation" that would cost over $ 25 million. Nike objects to hiring the a-hole who is blackmailing them, so the offer is made to just take $22.5 million in payment, up front, and forget the fake investigation, Nike can save a few million, such a deal! I

Day 3. More calls, warrants are prepared, and Avenitti tweets a warning shot across Nike's bow, to speed things up. New York prosecutors decide to stop the blackmail in progress before Porn Lawyer Extraordinaire can ruin Nike's reputation further.

Couldn't happen to a more deserving fellow.

Hmm.

Methinks P45 should contact the lawyer for the MAGA kid, and file some MORE suits against the press, networks, guests, and anchors.

The suits could pay for the wall, and then some.

The Left would couch it as "totalitarianism censorship by The Donald", of course, but he wouldn't be forcing the press to say anything Trump-positive...only forcing them to be OBJECTIVE and HONEST.

Which is why the Left would never understand.

quote:

Apologies to President Trump
Sharyl Attkisson - March 25, 2019

With the conclusions of special counsel Robert Mueller’s probe now known to a significant degree, it seems apologies are in order.

However, judging by the recent past, apologies are not likely forthcoming from the responsible parties.

In this context, it matters not whether one is a supporter or a critic of President Trump.

Whatever his supposed flaws, the rampant accusations and speculation that shrouded Trump’s presidency, even before it began, ultimately have proven unfounded. Just as Trump said all along.

Yet, each time Trump said so, some of us in the media lampooned him. We treated any words he spoke in his own defense as if they were automatically to be disbelieved because he had uttered them. Some even declared his words to be “lies,” although they had no evidence to back up their claims.

We in the media allowed unproven charges and false accusations to dominate the news landscape for more than two years, in a way that was wildly unbalanced and disproportionate to the evidence.

We did a poor job of tracking down leaks of false information. We failed to reasonably weigh the motives of anonymous sources and those claiming to have secret, special evidence of Trump’s “treason.”

As such, we reported a tremendous amount of false information, always to Trump’s detriment.

And when we corrected our mistakes, we often doubled down more than we apologized. We may have been technically wrong on that tiny point, we would acknowledge. But, in the same breath, we would insist that Trump was so obviously guilty of being Russian President Vladimir Putin’s puppet that the technical details hardly mattered.

So, a round of apologies seem in order.

Apologies to Trump on behalf of those in the U.S. intelligence community, including the Department of Justice and the FBI, which allowed the weaponization of sensitive, intrusive intelligence tools against innocent citizens such as Carter Page, an adviser to Trump’s presidential campaign.

Apologies also to Page himself, to Jerome Corsi, Donald Trump Jr., and other citizens whose rights were violated or who were unfairly caught up in surveillance or the heated pursuit of charges based on little more than false, unproven opposition research paid for by Democrats and the Hillary Clinton campaign.

Apologies for the stress on their jobs and to their families, the damage to their reputations, the money they had to spend to hire legal representation and defend themselves from charges for crimes they did not commit.

Apologies on behalf of those in the intelligence community who leaked true information out of context to make Trump look guilty, and who sometimes leaked false information to try to implicate or frame him.

Apologies from those in the chain of command at the FBI and the Department of Justice who were supposed to make sure all information presented to the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISC) is verified but did not do so.

Apologies from the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) court judges who are supposed to serve as one of the few checks and balances to prevent the FBI from wiretapping innocent Americans. Whether because of blind trust in the FBI or out of ignorance or even malfeasance, they failed at this important job.

Apologies to the American people who did not receive the full attention of their government while political points were being scored; who were not told about some important world events because they were crowded out of the news by the persistent insistence that Trump was working for Russia.

Apologies all the way around.

And now, with those apologies handled — are more than apologies due?

Should we try to learn more about those supposed Russian sources who provided false “intel” contained in the “dossier” against Trump, Page and others? Should we learn how these sources came to the attention of ex-British spy Christopher Steele, who built the dossier and claimed that some of the sources were close to Putin?

When and where did Steele meet with these high-level Russian sources who provided the apparently false information?

Are these the people who actually took proven, concrete steps to interfere in the 2016 election and sabotage Trump’s presidency, beginning in its earliest days?

Just who conspired to put the “dossier” into the hands of the FBI? Who, within our intel community, dropped the ball on verifying the information and, instead, leaked it to the press and presented it to the FISC as if legitimate?

“Sorry” hardly seems to be enough.

Will anyone be held accountable?
