I'm up from hibernation..... I'm in for the 14th.
Crusty......... I'll take the slab there and ride the Mohawk with you on the way back.
Although I'd rather eat at HooDoo Brown's than the Dino in Troy. I thought the food at HooDoo's was better. But I'm good with either. |

I'd enjoy riding back on the Mohawk Trail with you. The last time we did, it freakin' Poured. Hopefully. this time it will be nicer weather.
Hoodoo Brown's had some really good food, but there's no way I'd make it there in time for lunch. I like the Dinosaur, and the main reason for meeting there is that it's a traditional Meet-n-eat gathering point for Buellers. It's more about the people than the food.
If you really want to try some magnificent ribs, come down to Buelltoberfest and eat at Jim's Smokin' Que. |

DAMN IT! I just realized I can't meet up with everyone in Troy next month. That is the weekend of the Ramapo 500. I missed it last year because of my accident and I really want to do it this year.
Oh well... if it is raining Saturday morning, I'll blow it off and see about heading up on Sunday (but I REALLY want to do the Ramapo 500 this year).

Jaime, the chances are pretty slim. That will be the weekend before I get my next SS deposit and it's a 5 week month after I spend myself broke paying for the water pipe replacement.
I don't know why, but it always seems that I'm flat once September rolls around. August is definitely going to be a low profile month. |

I only got two!
I was too busy running my mouth and also mashing food into it.
Here are the two pics:
The old X1 had a running issue that eventually stopped having.
I think it was a snoot full of bad gas.
After adding 2 gallons and running it at a moderate speed, it reduced the symptom.
After I split off from the rest of the gang, I wicked it up on the highway by the time I got home, the sputter was gone.
The allegedly bad gas was purchased from here:

Note that the first picture was food, I think that was where the bad gas was purchased.
It was great to see Crusty again, last time was before he moved. Glad he’s having a good time, other than the expensive campground at Weedsport.
We sure had a pretty good day for a meet up, the Dino is as tasty as always and the temp wasn’t outrageous for the middle of July. Although it was enjoyable to ride with Crusty part of the way home I wished I had looked at a map. Didn’t realize that Rt 2 came out above Pittsfield, what an ordeal it was to get through there, would have looked for a way around. Oh well, still a good ride. |

I thoroughly enjoyed seeing everybody at the Dinosaur in Troy. The food was good and the company was better.I took a few photos, but I won't be posting them until I get back to Cheviot.
In a nutshell; a great ride to meet great people and eat good food followed by another good ride.
It's a shame Jaime missed it. He would have really enjoyed it!
