Nadler is so . . . . . well, he kinda rotted on the vine. I'm not sure he understands that no one in America really listens to him anymore.
Frankly . . . If Bill Clinton can bone and intern in the Oval office and Barack Obama could pull all the "I have a pen and a phone" stunts he did . . . including the guns he gifted to Mexican gangs . . . the bar has been so raised that nothing Trump . . . who ain't no choir boy . . . has ever done will rise to an actionable level.
My only comfort is that while the nutcases are doing all this they are distracted from making stupid laws.
Jeremy - I hope it never comes to it. Honestly. But, it's the daily CCW thought process - "when does enough become enough?". When it is justified? When is there no other solution?
Fortunately I have zero facebook presence (seriously, I deleted my account years ago because it's simply a waste of time). I live in a decent rural locale - we may be part of the PRM (People's Republik der Marylanden)...but our little mountain enclave area is pretty conservative - residents and LEOs alike.
And I think we'll see a lot of that if it hits the fan - find a space that you agree with / agrees with you, and relocate. There will be border areas (front lines), and there will be safe zones, and there will be tensions. I don't like any of it, but I suspect it'll be a lot like riding a motorcycle - situational awareness can help prevent a lot of "shoot your neighbor in the face" situations. You'll see it coming, and simply exit before it goes too far.
And...I'm on high ground, with good sightlines, in a house with 19" thick stone walls.
Since we are sharing snow photo's, this one is from a few miles up the road from me at HWY 9 and HWY 35 in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Shut down the road because few people could understand what was falling from the sky and why it was so slippery.
Size it to a max of 1000 pixels wide. Click "save". It will open a window with a slide for the resolution setting, and a data-size readout. Slide the slider until your data size is just under 100k - I typically go for about 94k. Click OK. Remember where you saved it, and select it when you click the "upload attachment" button.
FB1: That is correct. Alice's is about 15 miles from that intersection. One of the most beautiful roads around the area. You can stop at one of the rest areas and look down onto the SF bay on one side of the road and the pacific ocean on the other.
This one is from Alice's:

I host my photo's on my own site (airbozo.com, what else?).
For years, one mantra on the right has been, "I hate to agree with Rush, But..." when the radio star says something so true, so obvious, and usually so enraging to the left.
for about three years, it's been, "I hate to agree with Trump, But...." Ditto.
Three thoughts on the Klan Party response.
Yes, calling attention to the bile spewed by a hate monger does make them a target for condemnation. If there is illegal violence? That's on the Democrats for making it not just accepted, but protected and common. Plus it is a Projection Lie.
Yes, everyone should be free to condemn the actions of the Israeli, Venezuelan, Russian, British, whatever, government. Absolutely. That does not mean that it is EVER acceptable to use racist hate language about an entire group. This isn't imagined "dog whistle" fake news racism like an "ok" sign being assigned a meaning no one on the planet ever used. This is quotes from the Nazi Minister of Propaganda to justify genocide. F U. Direct, deliberate, genocidal hatred.
Third, I call for utterly ruthless mockery of hypocrisy. This is "All Hate Matters". ( all lives matter) Mock them without mercy, with glee. But to win this, you need to be brutally truthful, even to yourself. But don't apologize or justify, not a hint. This is a situation that calls for blunt force trauma, figuratively, so we won't need actual violence next month or months. ( when the terrorist supporters will burn someone's home with them inside )
Personal anecdote. A buddy and I spent Wed. Cleaning & arranging my basement wood shop. All the table saws etc are now on the same level, with benches to flow long boards through the process. ( with a boat? Project in mind.... ) For a decade, the tools have been placed as they arrive and became piles of obstruction and uselessness.
Lots of garbage. Bags full of bags. Scattered electronic debris, needing to be properly recycled.
As I told my buddy, "I can't call Sandy the bartender a lazy slut for not recycling her plastic bags, if I'm not willing to walk the walk".
It's easy to a hypocritical when invoking holier than thou rhetoric. I'm no exception, even if my ideology is the opposite of SjW. Caveat Emptor.
"Airbozo, I've been dying to ask. Are you the same Airbozo of wreck dot skydiving fame?"
Not me. Can't seem to find information on that.
I've only seen three other airbozo's, one that is some clown out of Taiwan (literally a clown), a twitter user (that has never tweeted) and a site named airbozos.com documenting the build of a custom Socash RV-7a out of Longmont Colorado (funny thing is I knew the family).
I was given this moniker when I was in the navy back in 1982, failing miserably at controlling a sea snake helo. It started out as "Clown of the skies" and morphed into Airbozo during a training exercise off South Korea. I've used it ever since and registered the domain name back in 1995.
Okay, thanks for the cool back story on the nickname! I figured it was a long shot. That Airbozo was an outspoken character on an old usenet board focused on skydiving. There were a handful of characters that dominated that site, and he was the most level headed of the bunch.
