Built a wood deck in the back of the Heep this weekend. The dog has a place to hang out and I have a place to lock up my trail gear and such.

Nope... there is a 1 1/2 aluminum angle under each side of the boards with a 1/4 20 nutserts. The black round things you are looking ate fender washers painted black with a button bolt holding it all together.

I took it to be asking if you were going to be adding recessed tie downs. Might be a nice addition. Nice addition though. Almost looks like you had left over stain from your deck. I like the jeep mat on top. |

I submitted my application to "Truck Night in America" You might see me racing for 10,000 bucks pretty soon! I'm sure they have a hard time finding "Racers" |

$10,000 Would not likely cover the carnage. They need to up that figure. Make sure you charge them an "Appearance Fee". SteveH |

By the time Uncle Sam takes his... I would be lucky it I had enough left over to pay for the trip there and back... and if something gets broken, I'd be in the hole |

I was set to run my Jeep in a tough truck competition a while back. During a monster truck show. $1000 to win. It was not being televised, and they would not let me have someone film my run. Screw that! If I'm gonna mess it up, it has to be recorded !! |

I guar-un-tee...if you sign with Truck Night, their contract spells out how you forfeit your image, your voice, your actions, and your vehicle images for life. They will own you, you won't get residuals, there is no "appearance fee". Facebook is free because you ARE the product. Truck Night gives $10k...that they harvest from your actions, persona, vehicle, and image. YOU, being on THEIR camera, allows THEM to sell THEIR product for advertising dollars. Which THEY keep. To cover the $10k they hand the winner. As well as the IATSE union stagehands, crewmembers, and other backstage workers' wages. Vegas gives big payouts and that's their draw. You think they give them often enough to lose money? Look at the hotels on the strip. They're not hurtin'. Entertainment is the same. Trust me. Take it from a production guy. We always get ours. It's in the contract. |

The Maxxis Creepy Crawlers I currently have on the Jeep are Bias Ply tires.... and I wish I wouldn't have bought them. Their road manners leave a lot to be desired. so I pulled the trigger on a set off these. Pit Bull Rocker Radials. They have little Pit Bull heads on the side walls.... so they must be good...

Mark if I lived closer I could liquidate your take off tires with ease. Get some manly size tires and I'd be interested myself. |

I'm pretty sure I can get a few hundred bucks for the take offs. I'm glad I can't go any bigger than 37"s That would cost me even more $$$$ |

Wolf, what have you done to keep your front axle in the same number of pieces that it was assembled with? I know you put in new shafts with CV joints, but what else? What axle are you running? I know my JK is different, but I'd like to hear real world experiences before I do something I will regret. With my desire to be able to tow my 16.5 foot camper, I will defiantly need to re-gear when I go to a taller tire. At that point, I might as well bite the bullet and upgrade the entire package, and probably add lockers. |

Perhaps someone should market a Jeep Jam tire that is labeled a 37 but measures a 42! |
