Greatest story from the 70's that always has me laughing was when Jim McGuinn . . . of the Byds . . . held a contest, solicited votes and chose the new name "Roger" (as in "Roger, over handout") which he officially changed his name to. In the book on Byrds history it says something like "if you weren't alive in the 70's, skip this chapter . . it'll never make any sense. | ||

The lure of socialism is that you don't have to work, in order to get by. The truth of capitalism is that you have to work...but the possibilities are endless. And the flipside to that is, if you don't work...well, let's just say no matter how hard you (do or don't) work, you get what you earn. Work harder, earn more. Work less, earn less. And therein lies the Dems' argument about "inequality" - "people are allowed to fail! HORROR!!". Yes, but people are also allowed to overshoot even their wildest dreams, if they only apply themselves. It's the "you get what you deserve" of economic theory. And it doesn't give them unlimited power, which is what they hate. | ||

Sabotage efforts of Congress to leave town. Get someone reliable and imaginary to post the home addresses in D.C. of the Dems and NeverTrumper Rhinos, with photos. I have other ideas  | ||
