Stu Varney on FBN this AM put a figure of $11 million that GM has not paid back from the bailout. When Varney is putting a number on it, I'm pretty willing to take that as something that has validity.

Obama's minion found it so easy to manipulate the reporters on the Iran Deal that he bragged about it.

I wonder if anyone believes BO when this crap comes out of his mouth. Do his "believers" not remember how oil was the means of destroying the world just a few short years ago? He simply demonstrates how big of a failure he was as POTUS.

But those same morons REFUSE to believe anything good could ever come from Uncouth Donald. This gives them the ability to accept that yes, things are better now...without admitting it's better because of DJT.

In recent times, Republican ex-presidents — Ronald Reagan, George H. W. Bush, and George W. Bush — left the limelight at the end of their tenures. They kept silent about their successors, and they allowed history to be the judge of their relative successes or failures. Reagan and the younger Bush often were ensconced on their ranches in out-of-the-way places. Obama would do well to buy a ranch, too.

Amen. Buy a ranch, use all the renewable energy you want (see how "well" it all works, firsthand!), and go off the grid.

Forever.

Please.

In 2012, when he took credit for my successful company with the "you didn't build it" speech, I decided to leave and let him take over. Imagine my surprise that he neglected to take the reins and carry on.
Guess he didn't build it, either.

Someone really needs to tell Obama he didn't build this.

Started illegal wars on three continents, supported genocidal mass rapists, and slashed the U.S. Military, THAT he did do.

Improved the economy? Maybe in Russia.

Approval = popularity contest. It's easy to shift the general opinion if your party promises free shit in exchange for votes.

The point is, his achievements surpass Barry Soetoro or whatever the other guy's name was.

But, but, he's so crass, so, common!

Not like Barry! Barry was so well spoken. He didn't sound like a black guy at all! Senator Joe Biden was astounded! Didn't even sound like a 7-11 guy!

And Clean! The creases on his pants inspired all the closeted old white guys!

And buff! Another trickle of lust from the closeted old white guys! I mean, not Vladimir buff. Not Vladamir macho black belt riding a bear with no shirt on buff. But still, Vladimir didn't inspire those submission fantasies anymore! ( he did for years, but when Obama showed up! Oh, those Plantation bondage romance novels feelings! )

And, sure, Trumphitler has a trophy wife, speaks more languages than Barry knew existed. ( His Russian speaking comrades, his Mexican speaking voters, and Australian, you know, in Austria! ) But Obama! His wife had guns! Not the scary black kind. Ok, the scary black kind, but not the metal scary black kind.

In fact, I'm starting to think that the statistics on homosexuals are wrong. There are a lot more closeted, white males with a serious racist submission kink than I ever imagined. And Cucks. All those Women's March gals who used their credit cards....

And.... Hilariously, when I Bing'ed "cucks" to make sure I spelled it right, ( not my kink, so I wasn't sure ) I discovered it's a very political insult indeed! Rage inducing!

I was just being sarcastic about the many, obvious, sexually obsessed Obama entranced media guys. But Dang!

On the popularity thing... Keep in mind, it's largely driven by the press, who of course does straight up reporting of the facts these days. Then that same press does the polling, which fortunately has no possibility to be skewed. Next we will hook the generator up to the perpetual motion machine and get free energy.

I think Donald Jr must've been still kinda stressed out from his divorce proceedings when he posted the poorly doctored image. He removed it 2 days later.

The rest of the figures are what they are because Trump stands on Obama's shoulders following the crash of 2008.

On his shoulders? In a sense.

Not like Clinton stood on Reagan's. That boom was a direct result of Reagan policies, and tax changes have a delayed effect.

Remember the Tax reform from a year ago? Despite claims it was responsible for the boom, it hasn't really taken hold. Wait for April. And expect a bump then. Last years boom was due to changes in regulation that sparked investment. The bust this last fall was political, in large part, and partly natural market correction.

You can argue this differently. I'm going on Zero Hedge, the WSJ, and 3 different ( and different opinions ) radio investment guru types.

One thing is certain. Obama had a narrative, actually said, that the days of your children doing better than you were over. That crap economies were the New Normal. That the United States wasn't exceptional. I'll get back to that last one.

Donald, the Game Show Host, ran on getting everyone back to work, getting government out of the way, and that America was, indeed, exceptional. And had hats printed.

Has Donald succeeded? Not completely. Everyone is never going to go back to work. Everyone doesn't want to. Or can't, because they are broken or Old. He has had a hard time getting government out of the way, since it's full of richer than you folk who don't want to give up their power. But he has made a good effort and got some results.

Under Barry, life got worse for most Americans, overall, employment was down, almost every month. Barry got us into multiple wars and coups. Look at his body count compared to George the younger, in Afghanistan alone. The economy had "the slowest recovery from a ( the Bush ) recession in history".

Under Donald, Black unemployment is at an all time low. Hispanic is darn good. Over all employment has gone up, not every month, but most.

That's not standing on shoulders. That's changing course.

As to exceptionalism. We are, in fact, unusual. It's because of the background assumptions of the Constitution, and our background assumptions on Power. We are ruled by The People. Power comes at Our Consent, not from God, Not from the President, not from Congress. They are our servants. How much they forget that, and disagree with that, is a measure of how wrong they are. Americans have, or should have, a trained distrust of human nature when given power. The last century of Marxist indoctrination has severely damaged the spreading of the fundamental truth.

There's a reason you don't trust the Government, and Donald. They haven't earned it. And never will. You are right to be skeptical. Donald is not the coming messiah. Neither was Barry the Weasel. And the next one won't be either.

That's our exceptionalism in a nutshell. Macron in France thinks himself the God King. He's just a tyrant. Scum of the earth. His assumptions are 180 degrees wrong. The same is true for ex-communist youth Merkel.

I agree that presidents inherit situations and they react to them which causes the next president to inherit another situation. I think Trump changed the narrative, but still was quite pleased with the economy he inherited. It does look like his pro-business drama kicked a humming economy up a bit more which is cool. I don't think this narrative will last, and the old one will return, being part of a larger political arc.

Sure, politicians are supposed to work for us but don't. That's the nature of the job when their newcomer shine dulls with time. I don't dislike Trump because he is a
Republican, I dislike Trump because he's got no character, no charisma, no leadership. I think he would prefer a pair of robo-Melanias over the real Melania. He's a sloppy liar. Sure Obama lied but IMHO doing it gracefully helps quite a bit.
