Sure it was. It "cured gun violence". Now they use kitchen utensils, and rental vans. But...it's not guns and that's all that counts. Of course, citizens can't defend themselves against knife-wielding criminals, or crazy drivers on a killing spree...but who cares about that? | ||

In addition to Ratbuell's comments, I find it interesting that since the police have adopted the "Ramming Speed" approach to scooter criminals, scooter crime has dropped by 36%, per the article. | ||

amazing what an ACTUAL deterrent effect can have on crime, and criminals. Kinda like, if we close our borders and don't let illegal-crossers petition for asylum, I bet we'll see precisely ZERO caravans in the future. But they think (unfortunately, rightly so) they can get away with it, so the number of people doing it is skyrocketing. | ||

Oddly, parts are, but some are on strike,(Iran, France ) others are too poor to go anywhere, ( Venezuela, Cuba, ) or have bosses that won't let them, ( N.
