I've been watching Joe Robinet and his dog Scout on YouTube for years, it's my favorite channel.

This morning, I wanted to turn around and go back home after I watched this. The last time I cried was when my brother died, until today.

Spend all the time you can with your pets, they are only here for a very short time. Their love is unconditional.

Saw that the other day. I’ve been watching for a while too. Scooter sort of feels like my dog. I hope the treatment is successful.

Couldn't take 30 seconds... waterworks on. As I began typing this, my Basenji came and crawled up in my lap.

So, the BW works in unexpected ways- after watching Slaughter's post on the mayo, laughing/crying, more BRCC videos will automatically launch.
Here's your antidote, Matthew...

There are a couple of Aussies that look like yours, even. If you need more than that, just watch more of their awesome stuff. Hope your day goes well, buddy.

Some will call me sad or different names, but in order of importance in my life:
Wife
Cat (Luna is my girl)
Bird (only third because he lives much longer than the cat)
Dog (She's new to the pack)
House
Motorcycles
Family (if you knew mine you would be surprised they are even on the list)
Everything else

"Spend all the time you can with your pets, they are only here for a very short time. Their love is unconditional."

Amen.

Damn, I knew this thread was about dogs before I clicked on it. Dogs can bring the toughest dudes to tears. Special animals they are.

Amen to that. People think I am crazy to want to spend so much time with my little guy, but I know time flies. I get emotional even thinking about when it's time to say goodbye.

Ditto to all the above! I didn't get my first dog until I was thirty-six. Now at forty-three I would be devastated and lost without them. I've never experienced the kind of true unconditional and pure love from a human like I have with my furkids. Special animals indeed.
