Automotive related. I am looking for this style wire clips, stud mount. It goes on a 2012 Ford Transit Connect, Ford does not sell them individually,you have to buy the entire valve cover kit. I found them online, but I have to buy 1500 hundred at a time at a cost of $114. Any help is appreciated.

Maybe just cut the broken part off and thread a common wire tie through the opening?

They are to brittle, and the part the goes on the stud are breaking off as well. But thanks for pointing out the obvious.

Here comes Mr. Obvious 2.0;

Cut a piece of plastic tubing to the length needed and slip it over the stud. Drill a hole through the sides where the stud is not. Slip zip-tie through hole and cinch down with wire trapped.

I like Ourdee's idea. Given the temps and heat soaking involved, I might go with oil line instead of plastic tubing. Available by the foot at the auto parts store of your choice.

Hope this helps, Dave
