Wife when I brought home my 2nd Buell and 3rd bike:

You have one butt and 3 bikes, how's that going to work?

Me:

I'll let my butt decide.

I CAN quit anytime, because I only really have room for 2...

My wife was really pissed when she realized I bought the Uly.

I've bought 2 more(2012 1190RS Carbon and the 1991 Westwind) since that debacle.
I guess she got over it, she's still here...

"she's still here".... Mine isn't, apparently I make terrible choices when it comes to women. I've found that at 15 bikes the "nag" factor is about the same.

You're not alone in that.

I just put some in the basement for similar reasons! No wife to nag though, just my Scottish heritage that won't let me open my wallet for another bike!

Yeah, I'm spoiled. No wife-person messing things up.

I do have french doors to the living room...but I also have garage-mahal, so I don't have to keep bikes in the house.

I *could*...but I don't have to.

Although, the project list does include turning my totalled S2 frame into a glass-top coffee table.

Because I can.

The only reason I don't have more bikes than I can count is I have a serious case of that Italian disease, Mafunzalo.

The thing is, I love my wife. Plus, no room for French doors. I'm actually hoping she throws a leg over my S3. She used to own a sportster, but didn't ride it much so she sold it to a good friend and neighbor. I've never seen him ride it and its sitting in his driveway rotting. I've been tempted to steal it back.

I almost passed out when she suggested I move the sportster into my office so we could chat while I put it back together...

She even _let_ me leave it on the deck once it got too cumbersome for my office.
