The meeting place will be the same. The time is 9AM. I can lead the historical HH route if you’d like. It is about two hours, so a 10 castoff gets us to BBQ just about lunchtime. What say ye? | ||

I'm easy, just ask my insignificant other. I've been known to follow many a questionable character so whoever leads is fine with me. Just looking to get away from home for a day and eat some good chow. So 0900 at the Perkins Memorial tower (or at the gate if it's closed) with a full fuel tank is the goal. An hour of tire kicking and introduction seems perfect. Looking forward to it. | ||

I had to go to Facebook to see if anything was happening there and you can see some of the response here. I wasn't sure if Froggy would go so soon after Buelltoberfest, but there's a big thumbs up. What's really exciting is Hammer might be able to make it, hope that didn't jinx it. Haven't seen anything from Doz, anyone hear from him lately? | ||

Possibly snow? I don’t know if it’d be advisable to proceed. I know we’ve outrun hurricanes before, but snow might be a reason to reschedule. Let’s see what the weather reports say as we get closer. Do what you all want, but I’m not riding in snow/rain in freezing temps. | ||

I have no interest in riding a couple hundred miles in the rain. My chances of being free on any given Saturday or Sunday are the same so I'm good with that. But if the weather man is wrong I'd like to give it a go. | ||

I've been getting calls from the utility company warning of sporadic outages as a Nor'easter moves through the area on Saturday. Snow about 2,000" which won't impact Dutchess county . . but, I am getting the helicopter the hell out of here until next Tuesday. | ||

Um, guys, do we have a consensus here? Doz put in a vote on Facebook for the 4th, also DRM1125 might be able to make that too. Sounds like Damnut could do it. Just put new bearings in the rear wheel today, still have to mount it, another week would take the pressure off. What’s the final tally? Froggy’s vote doesn’t count, he can still touch the floor and feel all fingers. Let’s hear from the rest of us that are sporting at least one piece of titanium and stand over an inch shorter. | ||

New rear tire, new bearings and new belt, took advantage of our delay and put everything back together during today’s drier weather. Went for a quick ride, feels real good, ready for the 4th. | ||
