I'll play... My work and play area:  More play:  This one has changed. Added a new 1U Supermicro nvme server for VMware testing and playing. Bottom rig is my media server and disk to disk backup machine. 4U server is my old Homeserver, now just a transit backup node (backup cache for syncing to my friends personal cloud). 1U above that is my management/firewall for the servers and workstations. There is also a new 12 port switch. That damn D-Link is too noisy to leave on all night.  Dual Xeon, dual quadro workstation hooked to the Wacom Cintique on the left, gaming rig on the right.  | ||

I like the caster wheels on the desk. Do you have any fans in the room for the human? I plan on taking up the carpet and replacing it with a laminate that looks like blueprints. I like hardwood but this house is on a slab. Thanks for playing. | ||

Caster came on the desk when I bought it, but I put larger ones to handle the extra weight of servers and at one point I had some CRT monitors on the top. There are currently no fans, but when it gets hot I have one sucking the air out of the window and one circulating the air. I have since removed the rug and added lots of rubber feet to the drums. If I wasn't up against the wall, that drum set would be moving all over the place. It's my version of a treadmill/stairclimber. Plus I get to play along to good music. Nillaice: My balance point is on the tip of many pins and my "wheelies" in life take multiple forms. I guess that's a cool way of saying I have ADHD. | ||

I have slept in Brad's office. More space than mine. elliptical is in the family room. I'm scared of it. I need to start riding rollers again. It's been a l-o-ng time. Don't think I'm a saint. Mine usually has a ton of clutter. Don't look in the closet. | ||
