Yep. No VIN, no title...but you get tire warmers with it.
There's also the H2 Carbon - an R tuned for the street, with title, lights, and all that stuff - and the "sport-tour" version H2 SX, which we have one of at work. 1000cc, factory supercharged.
And the SX gives you heated grips and cruise control, along with a full suite of electronics - quickshift up and down, launch control, traction control, wheelie control, and cornering ABS - all controlled through a six-axis IMU.
Or simply use a fighter from this century. The F22 will break the sound barrier without using afterburners. As will the 23. Heck, the upgraded engines in the old F14A+ and D were so powerful in zone 5 they couldn’t use ab on launch - it would break the cat. Just saying, the F16 is a bit long in the tooth.
That video is not an H2R. The R has no VIN, no lights, no mirrors, race only. The one in the video looks like an H2 Carbon.
There's (3) H2's:
H2R - race only, comes with tire warmers
H2 Carbon - the street version (detuned, of course) of the R. Clipons, full electronics suite, lights, mirrors, title, VIN.
H2 SX - "sport-tour" version: riser style bars, full sized touring fairing, LED cornering lamps that light up based on lean angle, quickshift up and down, traction and launch control, cornering ABS, available hard bags, and standard cruise and heated grips. The SX also has its very own design of supercharger impeller, along with its own software and tuning.
This . . . when you get to the root of it . . is kinda just playground boy talk.
I suspect any one of us here could arrange a venue and protocol that would favor any of the contestant vehicles. My sense is that the moment the vertical climb portion starts the advantage swings heavily to the aircraft.
In addition, some of these fun comparison conveniently discount utility and practicality. While the H2 may, indeed, be faster than the Bugati . . . well, you could buy every H@ ever made for the price of the Bugati.
The only Yamaha I'm interested in, at the moment, is the CFX-9 . . . But . . these are always fun to watch and see folks put their individual spin on the results.
