The mufflers look like they came off a V-max!

Not a fan of those hideous mufflers, but I'm hoping this is a portent of things to come...

By the way, a 19" front wheel doesn't make for the most nimble backroad hustler based on past experience.

Correction on the seat height; apparently the rider height is 33.1" unladen, 31.7" laden.

Morph the muffler into a dual outlet reverso under the engine with a bash plate and outlets both sides on the leading edge.

According to one of the official videos, there are already Akprovic accessory exhausts available, including a high mount and low mount version. Some of the bike photos appear to show the low mount version.

Next; Air suspension adjustable ride height. I'd be able to lower the bike for flat footing it in parking lots and at lights.

Definitely NOT for those of us with low hanging fruit...

Interesting comment by Steve Anderson in his Cycle World write-up:

"The touch screen software was still a work in process at the time we rode the bike, but the touchscreen itself works readily, and the Indian team is aiming to give a range of riding modes that make sense while simplifying the interface—there won’t be 21 levels of traction control!"

My electric blanket has 20 levels. I use levels 20 with preheat,4,and off. I set the room temp to 74 in the summer and 66 in the winter with my breathing air at 78 with humidity on 1. I like my bikes with all power and brakes available.

Cycle World dropped a first look video last month.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ybV_Qy7Fmas

It appears to be a little too long, a little too heavy, and a little underpowered in the power/weight ratio. It is a stunning looking machine.

A minor thing, but descent V rated tires in those sizes are $$$.

I think they had a real opportunity but missed the bull's-eye.

Somebody needs to do a real street tracker instead of the sporty cruisers everyone is putting out.

Ducati is probably the closest thing with the Scrambler...though it's more sporty standard than anything else.
