Hello S2t_bama. I went to the website and did a quick search for LGBT to see what any offensive drama might be about. I only found 2 articles I very mildly objected to, but things looked generally in good taste. I would understand such a suit if there was any text advocating violence against any other US military person, but I don't see any such text doing a quick scan also for ISLAM, HINDU, and OBAMA. At this point I would have to agree with you it seems the suit is a bit of a reach, but activists will file suits just to keep things exciting. (Message edited by h0gwash on August 18, 2018) | ||

I dabble in atheism and it is entirely practical to characterize it as a religion. I agree, and your statement is well reasoned. There is no requirement to practice atheism in public life, just as there is no requirement to practice Christianity or Islam in public. Alas, no. Militant Atheists are demanding that other beliefs be suppressed, leaving their own as the only acceptable faith. They are not the first to be intolerant pricks, nor will they be the last. ( although that "being the last" is their goal ) They are picking on Christians because America is a majority Christian country, but the faith has been in decline for a century under the assault by leftist/atheists, and is too wimpy too defend itself, there being no central authority. The Catholic Church has always been a Minority in a land settled by, initially, Church Of England immigrants, Protestants of all stripes, and of course, the radical commune Pilgrims. Generations of refugees fleeing religious persecution make "Christian" a VERY wide definition in America, unlike many European countries. ( which, often, our ancestors fled from ) You will note the same people do not pick on Islam, out of cowardice. As an ex-Christian Pagan, I'm not really on the lefty radar, other than stock mocking for believing in anything at all. Islam, however, would murder me without mercy for not being Of The Book. It's in their manual. Please understand I am not picking on you, or my old Afghani-American GP doctor, or the neighbor that has the elaborate Nativity scene. None of you want to force anyone to believe or renounce or whatever anything, just live your own lives in your own ways. But as the article points out, SOME Atheists, as a Subset of Leftists, are an Intolerant group of people that demand Conformity. For evil purposes. If you want to point out historical examples of others doing the same thing, we can be here all day, and you won't get an argument from me. But we don't live in Historic Sacramento where the Spanish Priests were doing bad things to the natives, or Historic Transylvania where Vlad fought the Ottomans.... But we do live in Modern America where some want to emulate China in establishing re-education camps. Hello Hootowl- While of course I would prefer any supreme court justice to be entirely pro-H0gwash, I agree there is no prohibition against God in public life. Even in my hypercritical eye I see scripture as generally agreeable. I also do not object to the attitude that courtroom displays of "In God We Trust" as being historically cultural artifacts which are not legally binding on current cases being heard. | ||

In the case of the Soviet Union, it was a program to use Islam to destroy Western Civilization, in the belief that after they conquered the Western world, the Soviets would just betray and conquer the Islamic world. But he still supports and encourages the dictator of Turkey and supports Iranian Mullahs, as long as the long term strategy is still working. Everyone with a working mind knows Putin would nuke Tehran in a heartbeat if he thought it would give him more power and wealth, but today, they serve as tools to hurt America, and Putin cannot rule Europe without destroying us, or changing us into his servants. There is a legal difference between an abortion, the legal killing of a human by medical procedures, and murdering someone. That's just a fact. Like it or not. You want to change the law? I will point out that Barry voted to extend abortion legal protections to medical folk killed children who were alive outside the mother's womb, then killed by withholding basic life support, like not throwing them in a garbage can to die from deliberate neglect. Allegedly from a botched killing, but I haven't read that bill. So I do not know what, if any, restrictions were in just killing children at will. And Obamacare extended the legal killing of people without any age restrictions, but did not call it abortion. I can tell you why many people desperately do not want killing an unborn baby by murdering the mother to be homicide. It would cast legal doubt on abortion. I'm openly pro abortion, but unlike the fanatics, I want restrictions. I want there never to be mandatory abortions, like in China. I also don't lie to myself and others and deny that China has that policy, like the fanatics. F$%# them for lying. Even if they just parrot the lies, they are lying to themselves and won't admit it. There is a legal difference between abortion and murder. There isn't a moral one. The people that kill their own, ultimately dilute their own gene pool, so I suppose the ultimate outcome is fair, if anything. The original intent of feticide against "human weeds" appears to be following the will of its founder quite faithfully. Why does the current missing person/murder case have the public's attention?...because it's a beautiful young caucasian girl.
