So a friend of mine sent these to me the other day. We were in the BMW Car Club and during car shows we would ask the BMW motorcycle dealer if he'd like us to show off some new bikes for him. He'd have us come by on Friday and pick them up, take them to the show on Sunday and return them on Tuesday. One year he gave us a GS. I think it's the 1150. There was a hill going up to the display area and after the show I decided to see how high I could get a GS off the ground. Here were the results. BTW, we did show these to the dealer and his only comment was, COOL!

What did the dealer say about it?

He literally just said, "That's cool!" This is the same guy who had a party at the dealership with a keg of Warsteiner. After I had a couple of beers he asked me if I had ridden the new R1100RS. I told him no so he said I needed to ride it. I told him I'd had a couple of beers but he insisted. I jumped on and he told me to rev it out in first and grab second gear and it lofts the most beautiful wheelie! So I ran it out in first and grabbed second, and it lofted the most beautiful wheelie!!
They are great guys but finally retired after his partner had a stroke.

That's what I love about XBs.
Pick the front end up a little at launch, slam 2nd and float the wheel a foot up.
Love it!!!

You're right Zack, the XB acts just like the beemer. Good catch on the hat. The first picture is a little blurry and I didn't even notice I had a hat on! It was back in the 90's when I still had some hair and it was BLACK!
