Man, I wish I could make it just for Fire Pit Jenga! Not in the cards this year. Don't forget, an essential component of the game is an ample supply of empty screw-top beer cans. Extra shits and giggles garonteed.
At the moment it looks like if I do come, I'm going to leave work on Friday afternoon and would arrive at the campsite at something like 2 or 3 AM. I guess I'll sleep in the truck that night then unload the bike and setup my tent in the morning.
The BBQ is too good to miss, oh and campfire shenanigans.
I'm bringing keychains, but in order to ensure I have enough, let me know what ones you want. In addition to the ones listed above, I now have Orange, Silver, Gold (which is about the same as the yellow), and Natural (basically the glow in the dark but doesn't glow). I've been meaning to get those new ones photographed. If you want something you don't see, just ask, I am always picking up more colors.
I haven't made any with it yet to see if it really works, but I do have materials to make some that change color depending on temperature.
Froggy; I think that there will be a real demand for the Glow worms. I'd also like one. Plus, I was just talking with Don in Buffalo (Oz666) and he requested one as well, if you have enough.
Oh; if anybody wants some of the tire valve stem caps, I'll have a bunch with me, as well.
Here is a shot of the Glow in the Dark illuminated.
Also, here are Gold, Silver, and Orange.
I broke out the color changing stuff, it is printing now so I'll have pictures soon, it changes from grey to clear when heated up. They make the color change in other colors, so if these come out good I'll pick up some others.
Froggy, they are awesome. Now when we put our keys up, they are color coded so we know which key goes with which bike when we grab them to go riding. We love them!!!! Will see y’all Next Friday morning!!!
Are there any rides lined up? The ride to the nut house was a good one; are there any more?
Last night, just for kicks, I plotted a route to Hillbilly Hot Dogs. Rt. 16 to US Rt.119 to US Rt.33 to State Rt.62 to State Rt. 2. It's 138 miles and 3 1/2 hours each way. By the map, it looks like a fun route, but I don't know the area. I don't know if people will want to do that long of a ride, either. I figure it would be best to do it on Friday; then maybe a ride to Weston and the Mental Hospital on Saturday?
After my experience a couple of weeks ago I can recommend the Patomac Eagle excursion train out of Romney WV. I've never seen so many bald eagles in my life.
Train leaves at 1:00 and returns st 4:00. $50 a head. They have a concessions car.
Froggy, red and royal blue if it's not asking too much.
I got the color transitioning one to work, this one goes from grey when cold to clear (natural/no color). I'd have to pick some up, but I can get transitions that go from white to purple, white to red, and blue to natural. It also makes me want to try some of the translucent colors, which may look great with the translucent XB bodywork.
I made a batch of glow in the dark, and for some reason, I can't get them to glow even sitting outside in sunlight for half an hour, yet the raw filament still glows no problem. I hope I can figure it out fast!
