Pretty sure you guys in the US didn't get to see the Blood Moon eclipse, but i woke up early and took a few photos on Saturday morning... every one is near the same so i'll post just one

I was pretty happy with the result as I am using a quite old and cheap kit lens - Nikon 55-300mm. That subject matter deserves a much longer focal length... This is amazing detail!

Yeah, me and mine were kinda sad to miss it, but hey. Looks like we'll get one on this side of the marble coming up on January 19th 2019, IIRC. |

I saw it here in the high desert of southern california saturday night about 9pm. Not sure if it was the eclipse or risidual smoke in the air from a fire close by but, it sure was a dark redish orange like the pics. |
