Finally got a replacement for the XB. It surprises me how similar the Versys feels to the way I had the XB configured.

Finding the Versys boards lacking in camaraderie. BADweb is still my main go to site every day.

I've heard lots of good things from folks riding those bikes! It's Farkling Time!!!

And, my $.02- Get some fishing line and shave off those gheey reflectors! I've never really understood the DOT requirement to waste all that plastic.
IIRC, from the era of the 85MPH speedometer. One of the first and easiest things to do to make the bike look better.

So far I've added

The first production center stand from T-Rex racing.
Phone mount
LED license plate (Stop and turn signals)
Battery tender pigtail
Heated gear connector
USB port/Voltmeter
Piggybacked my old Buell horn along side the OEM

Have to take a break from farkling for a while. The Wife's been frowning.

Frown or no, get a Stebel horn. $50ish, it'll save your bacon.

We bought 2 Versys. A 650LT for Carol and a 1000LT for me. Hers is the fast orange. Mine is stealth black. Very cool bikes.

I have a Stebel in the unused farkle closet.

This was the quick fix and the two horns together have a nice piercing tone that's pretty loud.

Can't go wrong with Kawasaki.

Very nice, indeed.
