It's funny that skyscrapers either have no 13th floor, or it is never finished and not occupied. When I was working at a security/fire alarm company, we did yearly inspections and had to take a specific elevator to the 13 floor or have security key us onto the 13th floor of certain buildings since there was no button for it. |

I think that was the 7.5th floor. Loved that! just sort of jammed in there, shorter than the other floors. Didn't they have to jam the elevator door to get out or something else? |

Yeah, that's right- the builder/founder of the company built that floor because his wife was a midget or something, wanted her to feel normal. Everyone in my fandamily knows I've always loved weird movies, that one's at the top of the list. |

There are a few buildings in Los Angeles with a 13th floor. Most of them don't have a floor labeled as "13". That being said, the floor above the 12th is still the 13th, no matter what the signs and elevator buttons say. |
