I love that museum up there in Hammondsport. I highly recommend it to anyone up in the Finger Lakes region of New York State.

Nice looking displays.

I really like old motorcycles.

My mom had one like that 1937 Indian when she was single. Had to have one of the "boys" start it for her, then she would ride with them.

My dad, when he was single, had an early 1950's BSA. My uncles claimed to have "rescued" him many times because of, they said, Lucas electrics!

You look at that Curtis V-8, and understand how the company ruled high performance airplane engines.

The Rolls Royce Merlin is a descendant of the Curtis D-12 & Conquerer, V-12 aluminum block engines. DNA by intellectual theft.

The first company in England to import the Curtis V -12s to put in airplanes, Fairey, was reviled for being unpatriotic.

Rolls took the D-12 apart and borrowed features for their famous R racing engine & Kestrel.
