My bikes = 2008 XB12X and 2000 X1.

Is the shifter shaft seal the same?

The reason I ask is that my "new" bike is leaking pretty bad and I have a mystery seal hanging on the wall with no part numbers.

Thanks all!

I'd wager they're not, unfortunately.

My 2010 XB parts book shows the shifter shaft seal as a '-06' part number. My 2002 S3 manual shows a '-84' part number.

Wish I had better news for you.

The shifter shaft size changed in 2006.

Well I tried it and it fit!
I guess I bought it years ago when it started to leak.
