I'm having trouble finding Lyndall "gold" front pads for my 2008 XB12X. Are they called something else now? I don't want to buy something that deposits crap on my rotor like the stock pads. Thanks all. |

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Lyndall-Gold-Plus-Brake-P ads-Organic-Buell-Thunderbolt-Cyclone-Lightning/33 2605912336?fits=Make%3ABuell&epid=171208422&hash=i tem4d70db7510:g:d7MAAOSw3dtawOA2 But FYI. All brake pads transfer material to the rotor. It's how they work. Thats why proper bedding of the new pads is so important and if done incorrectly a flat rotor can seem like a warped rotor. |

You didn't give a year or say ZTL or ZTL-2 so I guessed. All I did was E-bay search for "Buell brake pads Lyndall" |

Those are for tube frame and it's Ebay. Sorry, I'm dumb I messed up the search in amazon the first time. The Lyndall model I needed was 7228. The compund is "gold+". All I had to do was search for "Lyndall 7228" and the answer comes up. Sorry for opening up a new thread. I thought they stopped making them or something. |

Probably a can of worms, but I tried the Lyndall gold pads once. I found that when parking after a wet ride, they would leave deposits where they dried. Kind of sucked IMO. EBC pads have treated me mo-betta. I don't recall what version I have on. |
