To make a test, I just searched for "work anymore" and found this. What did you search for? | ||

If you are getting just a white screen after hitting search, that means the search failed due to searching too many posts. The search can't handle searching the entire site anymore, so make sure you limit it to a section like just the Xboard if you are looking there. You can set it to search only messages in the last so many days. On the busier boards it is harder for it to go back more than a year or two, so keep it limited. Also try the Google link. | ||

Never mind, guys. Some how the "Search by date" function of the search screen was engaged. This was reason for my problems. I don't remember clicking the box, but when I unclicked it everything appeared to return to normal. Sorry for the alarm. User error here. |
