John- given that you're a bit further north than me, how much longer will you actually need heat? We're on the threshold here in E. TN of just putting up the heaters- gonna hit the 70's and 80's here in the next few days. Just sayin'... of course I'm sure Cinci has a few weeks yet to really hit Spring. And... what Greg said! Money is the only thing holding you back, NOT a medical reason like me, grrr... look at it this way: You won't need the furnace while you're rolling on the Sportster!  Sure hope you can make it, buddy. Anytime you roll this way, if it takes you through Knoxville/Mur-vil TN, HOLLA!!! | ||

In this case yep, but that is because I am in full control of it, can determine who sees it and when, cut it off at any time. It isn't something like Facebook which monitors your location when the app is closed. This allows loved ones to check in on me, puts them at ease on my voyages. Lemon, I'm heading home Sunday morning, just after breakfast, it is something like 14 hour drive back so I tend to not linger much in the morning before heading out. | ||

Mountain Motorsports took the bike into the service bay 5 minutes after they rolled up the door... Just waiting on them to finish up. Then back to the house and got to make one more stop... Dogs are out of food, so.... Hoping to be up there by 3 ish | ||

I love it when I get to witness/experience great service! Good on Mountain Motors for gitnerduuun!!! I stopped in to my local Hardee's this morning to pick up a couple of breakfast bisquits, and dang if one of the two working the back kitchen was just hollerin' out to ask "what do you want?" and- shazam! she made breakfast quicker than the woman at the register could ring it in!! Of course it rarely works that way, but good on her, that was fun to watch! Doesn't take much to entertain me, apparently. | ||

Well it still took 2.5 hours for the tires but they only charged me $58, installed the new right angle valve stems that I brought with me, and clean and lube my chain for free. I'll call that a win. I am now hoping to depart from home by 3 be up there by around 4:15 to 4:30 | ||

Rubber side down, youn's!! We've got a GAWGISSS day here in E. TN, just sitting outside enjoying, watching the birds, waiting for Graham and Vern to show up. I'm cooking Peruvian chicken (Cornish hens actually) on rotisserie, with my sweetie's black beans, rice, yucca with mojo, and an avocado salad. Figured I'd do some kickin' chicken for them before the mass quantities of BBQ to be consumed soon... | ||

Dammit! Prayers up for Bill's wife and for Bill's safe return home. Vern, Graham and my buddy Scott just took off about 20 minutes ago... their agenda is TN321 to Foothills Parkway, then the nice ride by Chilhowee Lake, then The Dragon- Graham's never done it! Then, I guess the somewhat boring/straight ride down 129S to North GA. Nice, but not as awesome as the other route I use. DANG but I just HATED to see them pull out and roll WITHOUT my dumbaisss. Oh well. Maybe I could convince Vern or someone to grab me some brisket from Jim's and drop it off on the return home...? Youn's be safe, POST PICS, have a great time! | ||

Like The Frogster says . . . total control is what makes it awesome . . . .and the fact that she, from a couple thousand miles away . . .has total control over the lights, heat. A/C, hot water heater (we only turn the Navien on when we're here at the undisclosed location), the music and the security cameras . . . pretty much makes knowing where I am blasé. Sounds like you guys are having a blast . . . . working all weekend but intend to stay tuned for updates. | ||

All, Thanks for prayers. Mary Ellen spent the night in ICU after going through the ER. She is out of immediate danger and may be discharged today with more tests to come. I made it home safely. The ULY tipped over in the hospital parking lot ( I was so tired, I forgot to put the stand down...), so now I have to figure out how to reset the fuel cutoff switch. (fuel pump not running at all) See you all in WV, if not before. regards, Billg | ||

Bill, great to hear she's "out of the woods"... Godspeed to her coming home ASAP. Sad that what was going to be a great trip turned into that, but with love comes responsibility... also glad you made it home safe. Nice thing about Buells, they tip over well. I called into my doc JUST to get confirmation: Hot tub GOOD, motorcycle riding BAD.  I feel fine, but it wouldn't take much at all to literally "bust my gut"- no hernia please, thank you. I'm just going to peacefully enjoy this day, maybe go see Monet Maddux (my old boss' wife) play at the Shed- didn't even KNOW she's a singer/songwriter/player! $10 to benefit for "A Secret Safe Place for Newborns", catch up with my old dealer fandamily. You guys have a great time, BE SAFE, POST PICS!!! | ||

Billg- Sorry about your issues. All you have to do to reset the cutoff is cycle the ignition switch. Hope everything is OK with your wife. | ||
