Very cool picture . . . . I recall, very well, when Goodyear started manufacturing the world's largest tires during my senior year of high school. It was 1982 when Goodyear manufacturers their last motorcycle tires, This was a sad event for me since my 1977 Harley-Daviidson XLCR "Cafe Racer" came with Goodyear tires. Fortunately I'd been able to get my hands on an extra set of OEM tires that I found for sale in Dallas. They were crummy tires from the beginning but I I wanted to keep my XLCR bone stone. Later, my Dad's friend and golf buddy became the youngest Chairman one the Board in Goodyear's history . . hell of a nice guy. Great read for a trip through history with the world's largest tire company and an iconic American legend , , , https://corporate.goodyear.com/en-US/about/history.html

Open port two stroke dirtbike engine? I guess the audience is already deaf. Ever see a video of a crowd watching them start up a Honda RC166? Hands to ears as soon as it hits 1000000RPM.

I don't know how fast she was going, but she slid for over a mile. The neat part is she was pretty much OK; no serious injuries. Amazing stuff!

I met Val and chatted with her at the mile sprints I go to with my 1190RS. She is something else, so glad she came out of that virtually unscathed. It can be painful and deadly to go faster than anyone else. Z
