John Stossel: Why so many are 'taking the red pill' (and discovering the truth about the mainstream media) By John Stossel, Fox News
In the movie “The Matrix,” swallowing a red pill reveals the truth, while downing a blue pill leaves you trapped in illusion.
Today, in the parlance of some political activists, “taking the red pill” means seeing the lies of mainstreasem media -- and learning the truth.
“People don't care to watch CNN anymore: People pay attention to YouTubers,” says Candace Owens. Owens is a young black woman who created a YouTube site she calls Red Pill Black. “My second video went trending worldwide with 80 million views.”
For years and through many administrations, everyone said that peace and the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula was not even a small possibility. Now there is a good chance that Kim Jong Un will do what is right for his people and for humanity. Look forward to our meeting!

"I think we're going to learn that North Korea is NOT what we've been led to believe all these decades"
What does that mean?
"For years and through many administrations, everyone said that peace and the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula was not even a small possibility. Now there is a good chance that Kim Jong Un will do what is right for his people and for humanity. Look forward to our meeting! "
I sure hope he's right. But I seriously doubt it. A good faith negotiation requires good faith from both parties. We've yet to experience that from The People's Democratic Republic. (That, right there, is a lie. Lying is baked in.)
Sorry amigo. I don't buy it. Satellite photos of death camps, millions of people systemically malnourished to the point of being a foot shorter than their brothers and sisters to the south, a country almost completely dark at night, allegiance to the dear leader as god king or you (and your family) die in reeducation camps. I get that there's fake news out there. I don't believe this is fake news. NO ONE comes out of NK and says, no, we've got it all wrong. It's ALWAYS the opposite.
"We've yet to experience [good faith] from The People's Democratic Republic.
Says who?"
Says any rational observer after witnessing promises of denuclearization vanish like a fart in a fan factory once they get sanctions lifted, or receive their grain or fuel bribe. Then, just to rub our faces in it, the people are told that the sacks of wheat festooned with American flags come from an America so frightened by the awesomeness of NK that we offer these in tribute to the dear leader in hopes that he will spare us his wrath.
You seem quite rational, normally. I think you're way off base here.
Productive meetings with CA agriculture community & tour of almond processing facility. Farmers shared problems they have faced over the past several years - I promised them regulatory certainty.
Administrator Pruitt Tours the Golden State Visits major California almond processor and March Air Force Base Superfund site, hears from local farmers and growers 03/28/2018
Turlock, Cali. – U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Administrator Scott Pruitt is wrapping up a visit to California. During his time in the Golden State, he toured the March Air Force Base Superfund site and a major California almond processing facility and attended two roundtable discussions with California farmers.
“Getting out of Washington and hearing directly from stakeholders is essential to carrying out EPA’s mission of clean land, air, and water,” said EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt. “This visit improves our partnerships in the Golden State as we work cooperatively to remediate contaminated lands, protect the environment, and provide regulatory certainty to farmers and ranchers.”
Absolute? What do I know with absolute certainty about anything? Not much.
But unless all those google earth satellite photos are fake, NK goes dark at night. They are, from photos released by NK, and from eye witness accounts of visitors, much shorter than their SK counterparts. There are satellite photos and first hand accounts of the camps.
Let me turn this around on you. What evidence do you have that Stalin starved all those Ukrainians to death? Were you there? Or did you read it in a book that someone else with an agenda published? How do you know, with absolute certainty, that the event transpired? After all, you're relying on second or third hand information.
Because I haven't witnessed it, it isn't true is a pretty silly position to take.
THE SECOND AMENDMENT WILL NEVER BE REPEALED! As much as Democrats would like to see this happen, and despite the words yesterday of former Supreme Court Justice Stevens, NO WAY. We need more Republicans in 2018 and must ALWAYS hold the Supreme Court!
-- President Donald J. Trump, 5:52 AM - 28 Mar 2018
I applaud President Trump for standing up for the 2nd Amendment against attempts by liberals like former Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens who want to take away those cherished rights. #2A
Even the Chinese have an escaped N.Korean problem. Photos show malnourished refugees shorter than relatives across the river they get shot trying to cross. I've seen that on video. Tourists.
But the best source is probably the late Christopher Hitchins.
I disagree with Chris on many subjects. He was a Communist, atheist, and I am neither. But he was the most Honest reporter I know of. And he was there.
Hitchens was in Afghanistan. Anyone who thinks we should not have deposed the Taliban needs to read & listen to him. While I am angry at George W. Bush for his actions after the rescue of Afghanistan, I have zero doubt freeing those people was a blessing on humanity.
My "favorite" story was about the swimming pool. The Russians built a nice palace on top of a hill in Kabul. It has a lovely pool with a diving pool & board. Then it turns out that Kabul didn't have the water pressure to pump water up that high. Big joke, Russian arrogance, third world incompetence. But that's not the end of the story. After We helped kick the Russians out, the Talib took over. They used the pool, often. They'd take people who they didn't like up the hill, and force them at gunpoint to jump off the diving board into the dry pool. Those who only broke their legs were laughed at and shot at until the Taliban was bored. If you search long enough, you can find photos of the blood stained, bullet pocked, dry pool.
What do we really know about N. Korea? We know that millions of lives would have been saved and many millions more would have lived far better lives, if we had nuked Pyongyang in 1950. Killing every soul.
We didn't because of Red China. The argument can be made that billions would have been saved if we had stopped Mao. But that's a separate argument.
We didn't need to nuke NK. We defeated them with ground troops quite quickly. It wasn't until the Chinese saw the UN (OK, mostly US) troops a mile from their border that they joined the fight, and, after a lot of death, we ended up back at the 38th. So our fight was really with the Chinese. Should we have nuked them?
The world is full of might have beens and we shouldas. I'd argue that nuking Moscow in 1945 would have been the most humanitarian action in human history. But we did not, and it's pure speculation now. The reasons not to were many, some good.
What do we really know about North Korea (particularly as it pertains to their nuclear capabilities and posture) for the time period of the past eight years or so?
Inspector General Michael Horowitz Announces IG Investigation into FBI/DOJ FISA Court Abuse CTH, March 28, 2018
DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz has released a public statement stating the OIG intention to investigate the fraudulent FBI FISA Title-1 surveillance application submitted to the court against U.S. person Carter Page; and the surrounding issues of the FBI using Christopher Steele to underwrite their evidence therein:
Joint Statement by the United States Trade Representative Robert E. Lighthizer and Republic of Korea Minister for Trade Hyun Chong Kim Office of the United States Trade Representative, March 28, 2018
Today, Ambassador Lighthizer and Minister Kim are pleased to announce that the United States and the Republic of Korea have reached an agreement in principle on the general terms of amendments and modifications to the United States-Republic of Korea Free Trade Agreement (KORUS FTA). The nations have also agreed on terms for a country exemption for the Republic of Korea from tariffs imposed on steel imports under Section 232 of the Trade Expansion Act of 1962 pursuant to Presidential Proclamation 9705, as amended.
At the instruction of the Ministers, negotiators are finalizing the terms of the KORUS FTA negotiations, which are subject to domestic procedures in both nations before provisions can be brought into force. The revised agreement addresses issues related to investment, tariffs, trade in automobiles, and trade remedies. Additional progress was made in the areas of pharmaceuticals, customs and textiles to smoothly implement the KORUS FTA.
The arrangement with respect to steel imports is expected to take effect on May 1, 2018.
This represents important progress in improving U.S.-Korea trade and economic relations, based on their strong and enduring security relationship.
“The improved KORUS agreement reflects the President’s leadership in delivering more reciprocal trade outcomes benefiting U.S. workers, exporters, and businesses. The United States and Korea have strengthened an important economic relationship by agreeing to substantial improvements to KORUS that will help rebalance our trade, reduce our trade deficit, and expand U.S. export opportunities.” ~ U.S. Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer
The Trump Administration’s negotiations will eliminate burdensome South Korean regulations that have impeded U.S. exports and ensure that trade partners follow through on implementation.
My Administration stands in solidarity with the brave citizens in Orange County defending their rights against California's illegal and unconstitutional Sanctuary policies. California's Sanctuary laws release known dangerous criminals into communities across the State. All citizens have the right to be protected by Federal law and strong borders.

How DARE @chucktodd correlate the horrors of the 1960’s civil rights marches—where blacks were hosed down, killed, & attacked by police canines—to the #MarchForOurLives, whiny display? This is an ABHORRENT comparison and should be denounced IMMEDIATELY.

Keep up the good work, Jerry (FB1). Your posts restore faith that America is slowly correcting its course back to freedom and prosperity. The incessant barrage of the MSM divides us and helps create a two-tiered justice system which is a malignant cancer.
