Yes, I know they share nothing with a factory bike, but the name will be in the history books instead of H-D! Hector Jr. was the first in Pro Stock Motorcycle to hit 200 mph (200.23 mph to be exact) on a bike with the EBR bodywork today at the Gator Nationals. At this point it's a small victory, but I'll take it with a big grin on my face.  | ||

I think it's cool that a bike with EBR on the tank sets the record yet I find it ironic that a bike with EBR on it can't go around a corner! | ||

The 'stock' in drag racing classes stands for 'headlight looking sticker on the front'. But really? Duh. welcome to racing. Would you watch a bunch of factory stock bikes go much slower? Neither would I. Congrats to the whole team!!! | ||

Don't feel too bad, there's another dead product line in the background. So long V-Rod. How true! I was in a Victory/Indian shop a while back and walked in and looked at one of the Victorys. The salesman asked if I was interested in a Victory and I said Sure! Might as well own another red headed step child! So he asked what else I owned and I told him a Buell. He just said, Oh. As far as racing, I don't think any NASCAR has a Ford, Chevy or Toyota part on them, do they? I really don't know. | ||

Not only will they not turn, they won't tip over either. That's why Hector let Julie roll it down the staging lanes to the start. Yes that is a Buell stickered bike, and it's the championship bike for 2009. Hector took a real shine to her, so she got to have some fun at the Mile High Nationals.   | ||
