Well dagnabit John, I just got some stickers too! Feels like Christmas on a rainy February day. Thank you brother! Already booked my regular room with 3 beds (lodge #3), who's gonna split it with me? I've got the rustic camping kit too, just too used to having that kitchenette and nice bathroom and common area. They need a pool table up there to make it tits! Vern, I'm coming after you with a cattle prod this time. |

Are they scratch and sniff? I guess everything is if you work at it hard enough. |

I sent out a few stickers to people that I think will be there and a few to people I hope will be there. I'll have something like 50 or 60 stickers for the rally that I'll bring with me. Originally, I was going to get 50 stickers from Sticker Mule, but then I found an ad for Sheet Labels.com that offered 75 stickers for about half the price, so I went with them. Now; all I have to do is decide if I want to ride from Cincinnati to Georgia two weeks in a row, or if I should maybe find a way to occupy my time for the few days between the Short Track and April Buells. Maybe a little ride over to Alabama to take in the Barber Museum again? Or maybe ride over to North Carolina and visit my Sister & brother in law? Something to think about. |

Just curious what the sticker design looks like. Is it the graphic Glitch posted? If so, very cool. |

Yeppers, Hoggie- quite cool, just the right size too!! My fave is still Glitch's "kicking death's ass" sticker though, for obvious reasons... Starting to get a bit of sun today, temps in the 50's... Beemer is calling me... |

My Uly is starting to bug me about fixing it. I need to install the fifth gear out put shaft bearing set. I must get it done soon. In spite of having issues now and again over its life time thus far, my Uly has never not been available to ride at any given time. I have been dropping the ball! Time to get it fixed. With my other physical maladies I certainly do not need be addressed by a cattle prod! That'll leave a mark! |

Got a call yesterday from a good buddy, he'll be joining us Friday down at TWoS! He'll be riding his Multistrada most likely... Saturday he's planning on meeting some folks over at the Ironhorse over in NC. He has suggested a nice ride I've not done yet, about 1.5 hours from Suches: -83.6823094/Loafer's+Glory+Big+D,+Old+Murphy+Rd,+Franklin,+NC/@35.21 37402,-83.464136,10z/data=!4m6!4m5!1m0!1m2!1m1!1s0 x88592f08c9de918b:0x7497651eb167aeb8!3e0?hl=en-us& gl=us Apparently the Wayah Rd is an hour and a half from TWoS. If that's farther than your group wants to go, I would still recommend it as a long way home. Spring is the best time to see it. And the first time you should try to run it from Franklin going NW to Nantahala. Highly recommended. Anyone here been on this route? |

Yeah, sorry John. Lemme try again... Dammit, no bueno. I'll email him and have him just name the roads. One of the things I love about a trip to N. GA is finding new roads. This of course will include NC and TN... (Message edited by 86129squids on March 03, 2018) (Message edited by 86129squids on March 03, 2018) |

Crusty- search for Wayah Road at Topton, NC at google maps. It’s a cool road, but I haven’t ridden it since my first trip to Deal’s Gap ~15 years ago. |

Thanks Hugh!!! Again, I got the stupids for da webstuff. Maybe we can organize/time a Saturday ride to get back to Jim's for dinner... wonder what they'll be cooking at TWoS? If they're as busy as Mike said last year, they might run low/out of grub... my friend mentioned a killer place to eat at the end of the run IIRC. I'll advise as I gain information. |

Guys I have some news.I found out yesterday that Bloke, the guy who sponsors the Vintage Rally had a conflict and had his date changed to April 21-22.No one at TWOS realised that the Vintage event meant anything to us so I was not informed. We are on the calendar for April 13-15. Also Georgia DOT has started grinding and grooving the top layer of asphalt on 60 prior to paving. At the rate they are moving,I doubt they will be finished by our event. You may recall they had trenched perpendicular to the road bed from Woody Gap down to the Stone Pile, this is the stretch of road they are working on now. |

The lodge rooms and all the cabins are booked solid the weekend of the Vintage rally,April 21-22.There would be camping available and the possibility of cancellations. |
