Agreed. What I suggested would be an easy and quick way to put it to rest. I'm trying to give the benefit of the doubt. Frankly, his style of obfuscation of truth isn't typical of veterans. There are exceptions to everything though.

The only reason I suggested the medal on the instrument cluster is that the question was raised if this really was who he claimed to be, based on his IP address being in Canada. I could go on a Miata forum claiming to be Court Canfield, but I wouldn't be in possession of his hardware. I simply see it as an easy, and pretty cool way to put that question to a quick end. Now, I'm not saying presidents directly control the price of fuel. But they can influence it by denying leases, and imposing onerous regulations, which is what he did. The price of fuel came down because private companies, on private land, were doing exactly what the left mocked the right for: drill baby drill. The price came down in spite of Obama.
