Pale blue.

So all travel is rape? That's a consistent doctrine.

Misogynistic? Hold on. Let me check. "Honey, am I a misogynist? "

Apparently so. : )

First, let me say I despise Obama. That said, according to what I have heard from numerous sources the information that Obama wanted from the FBI was in regards to their Russian investigation into meddling in the election. So it could be tied to the FISA stuff but it doesn't look like it is tied to the Clinton email investigation.

The timing works to because the request was shortly before he was due to meet with Putin and one of the things he was to address with him were concerns around Russian interference in the election.

Isn't that when he told Putin to, "cut it out." If those were his words, how did the interpreter keep from laughing at the weakness?

They didn't laugh because it wasn't in the script. They are well accustomed to being in a stage play with no relation to reality.

Ask yourself. ... since CNN won't, who paid for Obama to fly to Pakistan for training? How did he get a passport to a restricted country? Did he remain in Pakistan or was he given a crash course outside of Moscow? Has anyone asked his college buddy who went with him?

( I'll skip the alleged lover/blackmail angle. It can get you killed )

Candidate Bernie Sanders went to Moscow for his honeymoon. Got an opportunity he couldn't miss for advanced indoctrination.

I understand why some believe in the Illuminati or aliens with no evidence. It's far easier than to admit they bought the lies of real people.

For a century the Soviets bribed, blackmailed, murdered, & lied to influence other countries including us. There's no need to invent imaginary evil when the world already has shallow mass graves.

The textbook on lying to steal power is available at Amazon. Hillary Clinton's senior thesis was about Rules For Radicals. Deserters from the Worker's Paradise that evaded the land mines & walls to keep them from leaving, have long told us the truth. ( notice the fury about walls to keep people out. Compare and Contrast. (5% total grade ))

I confess my opinion of Obama is pretty much the college slacker (wait till his transcripts see the light of day) sitting in a a parked car on 112th rolling joints . . .

But . . . I confess my opinion is based on a single source of information.

Obama's own words.

The guy's a joke.

Acting like a decent guy over dinner and drinks is one thing.

Being a liar and a crook typically doesn't come to the surface as dinner-talk.

I've worked with countless "stars" and "figures" over my career in the entertainment industry. You get one person on stage/in character, and can get a completely DIFFERENT person backstage or over drinks.

Sometimes that's awesome. My all-time favorite is John Astin (from Addams Family fame). Amazing actor, but offstage one of the most genuine, kind, good-hearted men I've ever had the pleasure of meeting.

Sometimes...it's not so awesome. I continue to give benefit of the doubt, but the example that sticks in my mind at the "" end of the spectrum was Martina McBride. I wouldn't have pissed on her head if her hair was on fire. That woman was incorrigable. On stage, she was "Martina", the singer her fans expected. Offstage? Nope. Absolutely horrid. Again - benefit of the doubt, maybe she had a bad bus trip to the gig, or hadn't been sleeping right, or...whatever. She was still a bitch to every member of my crew.

I'll let you decide, via facts in the news that are coming to light about his presidency and the actions he took; and the public persona he put on for speeches and events; "which 0bama" you had dinner with.

My guess after decades in the Industry? You ate with the stage presence; with the character of president.

Not the actor himself.

I'd be curious to hear about how you got to "hang out" with President BO for 1.5 hours. Details please.

No doubt, there is a difference between the man and the politician. I don't think the man would ever kill someone, one on one. As a politician, he did brag about how he was good at killing people. As we are now seeing the details of, he used the various Federal agencies to illegally target his political opposition. Not just politicians, but regular people. BO, the politician, who during a government shut down, ordered his people to make "as painful as possible" for the people of out nation. Oh yes, a very decent guy.

Nice fellow? Pleasant and classy?

That describes a lot of sociopaths. Not that I say Barry is one. Just go to his actions not his persona. I'm sure that if he didn't read the following he'd be nice to party with. ( George Bush the Younger was also a very nice guy to hang out with. )

Actions. Arab Spring, supported or directly caused with military force, the revolutions that, across Mediterranean Africa to Turkey, got rid of secular regimes and opened the door to the Muslim Brotherhood and AQ/ISIS.

Egypt had a counter coup and arrested Obama's choice, a Muslim Brotherhood scum that used gang rape as a terrorist technique and committed genocide against Christians and heretical Muslims. ( anyone other than his sect )

War on Libya. Sent admittedly scum Lt. Kaddafi to be killed by mob. Scum, yes, but scum that had abandoned his WMD programs and asked to return to mainstream world respectability. Technically an ally. Why? Obama said Hillary and Susan wanted a foreign policy triumph to show how tough Hillary was. ( she was already the Chosen Candidate ) Obama could be lying to pass off the blame, of course, but if he's telling the truth, he's willing to send bombers to kill people just to make Hillary look good. He's willing to let pilots die to support his Party. But he's not willing to order the rescue of an Ambassador, or pay attention, when he has a big campaign fund raising trip to Vegas the next day.

He was willing to lie about the Ambassador and send a man to prison to prop up his lies. ( film maker )

Obama declared that Assad in Syria must go. Why? Brutal dictator, sure. Russian ally. Ah! Secular ruler who suppressed Islamic terrorist groups to keep his ( Also Muslim ) tribe in power. The hundreds of thousands of Syrian civilians dead, 65 million refugees flooding Europe, arming ISIS and refusing to actively fight them ( while claiming to. After all, he sent our fighter planes and pilots to drop leaflets. Let's risk a hundred million dollars in jet and American lives for a leaflet drop in SAM infested territory for???? ) etc. Etc.

I'll point out that in WW2, the RAF did leaflet drops on Germany. Result was dead RAF crews and free toilet paper for Germans.

And all the above is one campaign of the Obama administration. A refugee flood to Europe, rape so common from refugees that the governments pretend it's not happening, no go zones where police fear to go, and only in groups so when the police cars are set on fire they have extra transport to run away.

Just one campaign.

If I was going in chronological order complaining about Barry's actions, I'd start with one of his Day One items, removing funding for poor black children in Washington D.C. to go to expensive private schools, like Obama used for his kids. See the documentary Waiting For "Superman". If George Bush the Younger had done that, he'd have been lynched. I'd bring rope.

Throughout the Obama administration his choices were for betrayal of allies and pandering to the enemies of western civilization. If you read his biographies you'd understand why.

I do have to give Barry props for ending DADT. Go you!
Bill Clinton's Don't Ask Don't Tell program demanded that gays & lesbians in the military hide from persecution, dishonestly, while not stopping the witch hunts to catch them. Morally indefensible insanity. But looked at from Bill's viewpoint? Wouldn't it be great if Hillary couldn't ask me if I'm cheating?

So one that subject, I agree with and am thankful to, Obama. I have many friends who suffered in the service under the Clinton Lie policy. Forbidden to openly love under penalty of prison and end of career, combat veterans....... Your MOS doesn't matter when your convoy is pinned down, you are returning fire, teammates dead from roadside bombs, and you're bleeding from shattered glass. Just a female truck driver in a non combatant status? Not when you're running low on magazines and crawl under fire to apply dressings to other wounded.

Thus I'm not 100% anti Barry. He did help some very special friends.

Frankly I don't care if Obama is a nice guy. He seems to be nice enough, plays basketball with buddies, was a member of the notorious "Choom Gang" in high school. Michele seems nice enough too. Looks like a strong enough American family with their two girls.

My only complaint is with his ideology, policies, how he represents the country, and his honesty on the job. In those areas, not much to approve of.

The effect has been predictable. A significant number of Americans who voted for Obama in 2008 and 2012 finally saw the light and voted for Trump in 2016.

"The Carter Effect"?

It really is heartbreaking though. I wanted our first at least part black president to be a successful uniter and uplifter, who was popular with all Americans. What a difference it would have made.

It's why any person of color running for the Presidency as a Republican will be attacked no-holds-barred by the Left. See Herman Cain. See how Col. Allen West. See Ben Carson. I hope Dr. Carson Runs again, say in 2024. He is a very quick study. Mia Love is another conservative to keep an eye on. Either, if successful would be a very serious threat to destroying the Democrat Left.

EButch,

Don't be a biggot. I'm referring to memes that offer up denigrating false depictions of the Obamas using ghetto talk, or that focus on appearance or dress. That kind of mean-spirited personal attack only affirms what the Left says conservatives are all about. Be better than the leftists, not like them.

The photo of Michele's sandals? Open on the outboard side, closed inboard, with a toe loop to hold them in place, kinda like the single sided swingarm version of women's sandals. And her feet may be relatively large, but she is in the foreground of the photo relative to Barry, so take that into account.

The most effective approach to enemies in politics is to stand on honest presentation of facts and to love them as fellow humans bearing God's image.

Or take the David Horowitz approach and speak cold hard blunt truth. LOL. That man is something else!

I absolutely agree. Each one of the "cheap shots" detracts from the real problems.

I disagree vehemently with both Barack and Michelle Obama on about everything. But, I had the pleasure of giving a Commencement Address at which she delivered a speech prior to mine. While her message was inconsistent with my personal views . . . she is dangerously smart and an excellent public speaker. I learned a lot from her.

>>>>If "honesty on the job" is important to you Blake, you must be quite disturbed by the sitting President.

Honesty, particularly in the office of the President of the United States of America, is very important to me.

I watched Obama lie, flagrantly and with impunity, to the American people.

I am not a big fan of Trump but I have yet to have anyone offer up an facts citing any lie. It appears, based simply on facts, that he has set about doing precisely what he promised, and was elected, to do.

I think he's a buffoon personally. But, I think he'd exposing ingrained corruption and effectively on the way to fixing a system that was criminally broken.

I suppose if you have Lois Lerner coming after you, at the direction of the Obama White House, to "teach you a lesson", you may view things differently.

I feel no need to defend Donald. But the reason he won, was all about the dishonesty of his opponent and the media. Over a year of Trump Sound Bites instead of honest reporting. A black republican presidential candidate? Ridicule and gotcha questions.

Ditto on the insulting pictures.

If you can't slam a guy with the truth you are wrong in slamming him. Don't make me defend Obama. I will, but it's distasteful.

Michelle? The kids are off limits. The college age one is kicking her heels with smoking and partying, & is a great example why I think bringing children into the White House is morally irresponsible. Barry and Donald appear to put ambition ahead of family. Not good.

But Michelle? If not for her anti American attitude and self righteousness, I'd call her off limits. Even so, honest criticism is fair. Picking on feet or butts or hair? Unfair. If the foot thing is supposed to be about Michelle's alleged gender? Wait for the tell all books. They may not come out until Barry's in jail. In any event it's rude to pick on Barry's sexual preferences.

It is fair to point out I never heard of him golfing with a female. He had women in positions of power. Perhaps a golf thing misogyny? Or just his way to have sex with men secretly? President's time is very public and private time hard to get.

Toro, perhaps you could get a better response if you were to give some example of Trump's dishonesty. I'm unaware of him pushing any major lies on the people, such as "if you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor". IMO, Trump is a breath of fresh air on the honesty front when compared to pretty much all politicians.

Back on topic though, last Sunday I was talking to the IT manager of our local hospital. I've known him for many years, but haven't had a chance to just sit and talk like that with him since we moved to Michigan a year and a half ago. Part of that conversation, as is typical, turned to work. He said they are still ripping their hair out trying to get in compliance with all of the regulations from BOcare. This wasn't a political discussion, just some old friends catching up with what's going on in their lives. This is part of the lie about the "Affordable Care Act". So much of it had nothing to do with the care, and does anything but making it more affordable. Last fall I had a similar conversation with someone who handles insurance and compliance for a small dental business. This whole ACA is one of the biggest lies ever told to the American people. It's a lie that's still being told.

Hey Sifo. What's a Sifo?

ok, I'll play but if you had just used Google you probably could have answered your own question.

Some Trump Lies So Far...

JAN. 21, 2017.“I wasn't a fan of Iraq. I didn't want to go into Iraq.” (He was for an invasion before he was against it.)
JAN. 21, 2017.“A reporter for Time magazine — and I have been on their cover 14 or 15 times. I think we have the all-time record in the history of Time magazine.” (Trump was on the cover 11 times and Nixon appeared 55 times.)
JAN. 23, 2017.“Between 3 million and 5 million illegal votes caused me to lose the popular vote.” (There's no evidence of illegal voting.)
JAN. 25, 2017.“Now, the audience was the biggest ever. But this crowd was massive. Look how far back it goes. This crowd was massive.” (Official aerial photos show Obama's 2009 inauguration was much more heavily attended.)
JAN. 25, 2017.“Take a look at the Pew reports (which show voter fraud.)” (The report never mentioned voter fraud.)
JAN. 25, 2017.“You had millions of people that now aren't insured anymore.” (The real number is less than 1 million, according to the Urban Institute.)
JAN. 25, 2017.“So, look, when President Obama was there two weeks ago making a speech, very nice speech. Two people were shot and killed during his speech. You can't have that.” (There were no gun homicide victims in Chicago that day.)
JAN. 26, 2017.“We've taken in tens of thousands of people. We know nothing about them. They can say they vet them. They didn't vet them. They have no papers. How can you vet somebody when you don't know anything about them and you have no papers? How do you vet them? You can't.” (Vetting lasts up to two years.)
JAN. 26, 2017.“I cut off hundreds of millions of dollars off one particular plane, hundreds of millions of dollars in a short period of time. It wasn't like I spent, like, weeks, hours, less than hours, and many, many hundreds of millions of dollars. And the plane's going to be better.” (Most of the cuts were already planned.)
JAN. 28, 2017.“The coverage about me in the @nytimes and the @washingtonpost has been so false and angry that the Times actually apologized to its dwindling subscribers and readers.” (It never apologized.)
JAN. 29, 2017.“The Cuban-Americans, I got 84 percent of that vote.” (There is no support for this.)
JAN. 30, 2017.“Only 109 people out of 325,000 were detained and held for questioning. Big problems at airports were caused by Delta computer outage.” (At least 746 people were detained and processed, and the Delta outage happened two days later.)
FEB. 3, 2017.“Professional anarchists, thugs and paid protesters are proving the point of the millions of people who voted to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!” (There is no evidence of paid protesters.)
FEB. 6, 2017.“It's gotten to a point where it is not even being reported. And in many cases, the very, very dishonest press doesn't want to report it.” (Terrorism has been reported on, often in detail.)
FEB. 6, 2017.“And the previous administration allowed it to happen because we shouldn't have been in Iraq, but we shouldn't have gotten out the way we got out. It created a vacuum, ISIS was formed.” (The group’s origins date to 2004.)
FEB. 7, 2017.“And yet the murder rate in our country is the highest it’s been in 47 years, right? Did you know that? Forty-seven years.” (It was higher in the 1980s and '90s.)
FEB. 9, 2017.“Chris Cuomo, in his interview with Sen. Blumenthal, never asked him about his long-term lie about his brave ‘service’ in Vietnam. FAKE NEWS!” (It was part of Cuomo's first question.)
FEB. 9, 2017.“Sen. Richard Blumenthal...now misrepresents what Judge Gorsuch told him?” (The Gorsuch comments were later corroborated.)
FEB. 10, 2017.“I don’t know about it. I haven’t seen it. What report is that?” (Trump knew about Flynn's actions for weeks.)
FEB. 12, 2017.“Just leaving Florida. Big crowds of enthusiastic supporters lining the road that the FAKE NEWS media refuses to mention. Very dishonest!” (The media did cover it.)
FEB. 16, 2017.“We got 306 because people came out and voted like they've never seen before so that's the way it goes. I guess it was the biggest Electoral College win since Ronald Reagan.” (George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton and Barack Obama all won bigger margins in the Electoral College.)
FEB. 16, 2017.“Walmart announced it will create 10,000 jobs in the United States just this year because of our various plans and initiatives.” (The jobs are a result of its investment plans announced in October 2016.)
FEB. 16, 2017.“When WikiLeaks, which I had nothing to do with, comes out and happens to give, they’re not giving classified information.” (Not always. They have released classified information in the past.)
FEB. 16, 2017.“We had a very smooth rollout of the travel ban. But we had a bad court. Got a bad decision.” (The rollout was chaotic.)
FEB. 16, 2017.“They’re giving stuff — what was said at an office about Hillary cheating on the debates. Which, by the way, nobody mentions. Nobody mentions that Hillary received the questions to the debates.” (It was widely covered.)
FEB. 18, 2017.“You look at what's happening in Germany, you look at what's happening last night in Sweden. Sweden, who would believe this?” (Trump implied there was a terror attack in Sweden, but there was no such attack.)
FEB. 24, 2017.“By the way, you folks are in here — this place is packed, there are lines that go back six blocks.” (There was no evidence of long lines.)
FEB. 24, 2017.“ICE came and endorsed me.” (Only its union did.)
FEB. 24, 2017.“Obamacare covers very few people — and remember, deduct from the number all of the people that had great health care that they loved that was taken away from them — it was taken away from them.” (Obamacare increased coverage by a net of about 20 million.)
FEB. 27, 2017.“Since Obamacare went into effect, nearly half of the insurers are stopped and have stopped from participating in the Obamacare exchanges.” (Many fewer pulled out.)
FEB. 28, 2017.“The E.P.A.’s regulators were putting people out of jobs by the hundreds of thousands.” (There's no evidence that the Waters of the United States rule caused severe job losses.)
FEB. 28, 2017.“We have begun to drain the swamp of government corruption by imposing a five-year ban on lobbying by executive branch officials.” (They can't lobby their former agency but can still become lobbyists.)
MARCH 3, 2017.“It is so pathetic that the Dems have still not approved my full Cabinet.” (Paperwork for the last two candidates was still not submitted to the Senate.)
MARCH 4, 2017.“Terrible! Just found out that Obama had my ‘wires tapped’ in Trump Tower just before the victory. Nothing found. This is McCarthyism!” (There's no evidence of a wiretap.)

After the first few I realized that Trump is full of crap. But I knew that. Those are all him being wrong. Not deliberate lies, just full of himself. And several of the ( explanations of why he was wrong) are themselves outright lies.

I don't have time, nor the inclination to rebut the bull crap and admit the true parts.

Because, in case you hadn't noticed, Donald is full of it. So he's wrong a lot when he gets bombastic.

So, source? Or did you search Trump Lies and pick them individually out of the 76 million times he's been full of it?

Like I said, Not A Fan.

And it's not really fair to just point out all the times other politicians lied, that's not an excuse.

Just because Hillary lied to the families of the dead she was responsible for, then called the families liars, ( not so, her comments were published at the time ) doesn't excuse a single thing Donald said that was false.

It IS a reason she lost.

Toro,

Sure. I cringe every time our President says something that isn't true. What dishonesty on the part of the president do you reckon we should be most bothered by?

I do tend to mostly disregard inaccuracies in casual commentary.

It is the willful misrepresentations concerning serious policy and major political events that ought to be of grave concern to all Americans.

I'm paraphrasing from memory here, but the type of dishonesty that really concerns me would be the kind akin to the following.

"If you like your health plan, you can keep your health plan." (boldly asserted publicly dozens of times)

"Ben Ghazi was a spontaneous popular protest caused by an Internet video."

"The Islamic State is not Islamic."

"Beau Bergsahl served the country with honor and distinction."

"The police acted stupidly."
