One day, at band camp.....

Actually historical re-enactor camp, someone complained that you couldn't tell ethnic jokes anymore. It was pointed out that extinct cultures were open for mocking, there is no Hittite Anti-defamation league, since there's no Hittites.

So every old and bad ethnic joke got hauled out and applied to Hittites. We even had a rant, that was, of course, historically correct. "Sheep shagging, Iron smelting, art stealing......".

A few years later my Sister is taking a history course at Columbia, ( for her, a Guts course ) and the professor asks what anyone can tell him about the Hittites? "The Rant" started to come out, muttered under her breath, and the Prof cries "Iron Smelting! correct! and....."

Kerry the Traitor

Kerry to Abbas confidante: 'Stay strong and do not give in to Trump'

During the conversation, according to the report, Kerry asked Agha to convey a message to Abbas and ask him to “hold on and be strong.” Tell him, he told Agha, “that he should stay strong in his spirit and play for time, that he will not break and will not yield to President [Donald] Trump’s demands.”

According to Kerry, Trump will not remain in office for a long time. It was reported that Kerry said that within a year there was a good chance that Trump would not be in the White House.

https://www.weaselzippers.us/372377-report-john-ke rry-considering-a-2020-presidential-run/

Not only did Kerry strongly imply a coup in the United States, he announced his intention to run for President, not on Oprah or Connan or Comedy Central ( home of Democrat propaganda humor, such as it is ) but while violating the Logan Act with President of a terrorist organization in Jordan. One must wonder how many more decades Kerry's buddy will serve on his four year term, & if this example inspired Kerry to run again, supposedly after Trump is assassinated or imprisoned by Kerry's minions.

What should happen is an arrest and swift trial for violations of Federal law. Swift, to ease the suffering of the accused, who should be denied bail as a flight risk.

I don't recall the last conviction for the Logan Act but if it's the law, this is a clear violation.

Other than the number of tanks in his inventory, & the relative lack of corruption on the part of the head of the Socialist Workers Party in 1938, this is like announcing your candidacy in a meeting with Hitler while urging him to consolidate his rule over German speaking people in Austria and Poland & not to worry about FDR's reaction to conquest, since he'll be dead soon.

It's possible I'm being too hard on Kerry because of deep seated resentment at unearned wealth and my own apparent character flaws that make me doubt my happiness if I married for money. ( which I didn't, so have no appreciation for the joys of being given a yacht on my birthday ) Nor do I understand the dumping of a rich wife who gets ill and picking out a new gravy train. ( a no doubt foolish and quaint attitude about standing by your partner )

Oh, & the serial times Kerry acted as a private citizen to undermine American foreign policy and willingly serve as a propaganda tool for murderous dictatorships.

Obviously that lack of lack of morals makes me incapable of judgment of such an elite as Kerry.

I'm with you, but it's worth reading/watching what Scott Adams has to say about this.

As much as we want this to be proof of an internal FBI conspiracy against Trump, Adams points out that it's most likely that the messages will turn out to be something relatively innocuous. Adams' opinion isn't based on any insider knowledge, it's just based on common sense. As he puts it, any time you have an unexplained event, if there's a mundane/normal explanation for the event and a crazy, amazing, "who could believe this would ever happen" explanation, most times the mundane explanation will be true.

It would be really crazy if two FBI people were discussing the overthrow of the president. It would be even crazier if they were doing it on electronic media, which they both had to know was guaranteed to be recoverable. The two FBI people were having an illicit affair during this time. It seems much more likely the messages will turn out to be sexually explicit rather than conspiratorial, and anyone in that situation would go to great lengths to prevent the messages from being made public. Same for the "secret society". Maybe it was just a joke for a bunch of anti-Trump FBI people who met at some bar once a week.

Adams totally acknowledges this may be completely wrong, he just says it's the most likely scenario. He backs Trump's innocence in the Russia collusion story using the same logic.

We've seen an awful lot of stories come out on conservative websites over the past few years proclaiming "THIS is going to send (insert least favorite liberal politician here) to jail once and for all!" and none of them have come true yet, so that's worth bearing in mind before we get too enthused about the latest story.

I'm with Hughlysses on this one. A year of "this will blow the lid off" predictions haven't come true. I hope there IS a clever strategy here and that the reason there has not been a purge at Justice and the FBI is that the rules for active service employees is better than fired or retired for prosecution of these crimes.

But not holding my breath. ( & praying the SS does a good job with the increasing number of assassination threats )

I was watching Fox Business News last night when they played a clip of MSNBC. They had their guy at Davos, who was saying Trump was being greeted like a rock star. The anchor back at the studio kept wanting information on the anti-Trump protests. He kept saying there weren't protests. The anchor pressed with... Well, where are they? Why can't the protestors get there? She finally gave up on the protest angle and just said that it's not like a real rock star coming out on stage with fire works and lasers, etc. Very funny to watch. Also sad. There's plenty to complain about with Trump. Most news agencies don't even have the integrity to go with that. Instead, they have to try to manufacture their own garbage.

Meanwhile Turkey under it's new Islamic dictator attacks Kurds. The excuse is US support.for a declared terrorist group. The facts are He hates the Kurds and so do many of the surrounding low lands people. Iran, Iraq, Turkey, all claim the traditional hills that have been home to the Kurds since???? I think Jesus wasn't born yet. Nearly as long as Jews in Israel.

The surrounding countries split the Kurdish homeland between them. All have historical reasons to hate the Kurds. They've come down out of the hills to raid forever. Then an Empire rises, overpowers the Kurds & then uses them as shock troops until the Empire falls and things go back to normal. ( Saladin was a Kurd. Yep. That Saladin )

None of the three countries wants an independent free Kurdistan carved out of their British given territory. ( the borders were drawn to reward WW1 allies ) ( then again for WW2 )

You are known by your enemies.

Also by your friends. Tribes who value independence from Islamic rule ( though Muslims themselves ) love Trump. Iranian mullahs prefer Obama. Didn't like or respect Obama.

Trump has many faults. He's easy to criticize. You've probably forgotten since all you read are lies by the Socialist Democrat Party. . Easy to forget he's a reflexive braggart and a bit of a bully when he's constantly being accused of eating children, well done with ketchup.
