Good old Dickhead Durbin, or Turbin Durbin as some call him. I've been voting against this Jerk for a long time but Chicago keeps putting him back in. I've written him letters and get letters back telling me I don't know what I'm talking about. He's a real piece of work. Sorry everybody, I've done all I can do! Legally anyway!

>>>Court, your crews should be in for a fun time.

Thank you. Like Harley-Davidson's Public Relations VP . . . . I know, always knew, that by the time they called me they had tried and screwed it up.

We'll see.

This weekend I am dealing with a catastrophic failure of a lattice steel tower in Westchester County and trying to find some parts before the thread holding most of one of the five boroughs takes a crap . . . .

If it's easy they don't call and I'm not interested. Time, tide and age has made me picky about projects and I adhere rigidly to my Dad's axiom . . . "if it's not fun and you're not making' money . . . why do it?"

:-)

By the way . . . one of the problems will simply be getting helicopters . . . the one's I want are well north in Canada at the moment . . . . and there is more work than I have ever seen in 45 years of doing this.

That's the first I've heard of that . . . interesting.

But, as I look at some of the articles that reporter has written I'd treat mosts of them with a bit of skepticism.

Her "mission" seems to be Climate Change and stuffing every round peg into the square hole of green energy.

While I applaud "green" efforts . . . I suspect most of Puerto Rico is more interested in getting power lines back up and the refrigerators and hot water heater working. Adding the several years to coincidentally execute a social engineering sea change may not be an appropriate response.

Thanks for the article . . . it's interesting and I've had my own "search for parts" going over the weekend with a catastrophic tower failure in Westchester County,

PREPA has apparently been a sketchy outfit for years. I was working with an Army Reserve unit several years ago based at the former Roosevelt Roads Navy facility on the island. They had 7 or 8 buildings and their power was so unreliable that they started a project to build their own power plant. They claimed that at one point the power to the base had been cut and 1000's of yards of high tension lines were stolen. It took PREPA ~3 months to make the repairs!

HIDDEN CAMERA: HUNDREDS of Twitter Employees Paid to View “Everything You Post Online” Including Private “Sex Messages”
Project Veritas Staff Report ~ January 15, 2018

- Clay Haynes: “There’s teams dedicated to it… at least, three or four hundred people… they’re paid to look at d*ck pics.”

- Pranay Singh, Twitter Engineer, Says “All your sex messages… d*ck pics… like, all the girls you’ve been f*cking around with, they’re are on my server now…”

- “Everything you send is stored on my server… You can’t [delete it], it’s already on my server.”

- Claims Twitter Stores Your Private Data to Sell to Advertisers, “They’ll make a virtual profile about you”

- “You’re paying for the right to use our website with your data basically.”

- “You leak way more information than you think… Like, if you go to Twitter for the first time, we have information about you.”

- How Would You Protect People If This Power Fell Into the Wrong Hands? “You don’t,” Says Former Twitter Engineer Conrado Miranda, “There is no way.”

~ Continuation of Project Veritas’ American Pravda Series ~

Project Veritas has released undercover footage of Twitter Engineers and employees admitting that Twitter employees view all of your private messages on their servers and analyze it to create a “virtual profile” of you which they sell to advertisers.

The footage features four current Twitter software engineers–Conrado Miranda, Clay Haynes, Pranay Singh, and Mihai Alexandru Florea.

Haynes, who was featured in part one of the Twitter exposé, admitted in a January 6, 2018 meeting that Twitter has hired hundreds employees with the express purpose of looking at these “d*ck pics,” stating:

quote:

“There’s teams dedicated to it. I mean, we’re talking, we’re talking three or four… at least, three or four hundred people… Yes, they’re paid to look at d*ck pics.”

Haynes continues to elaborate that even he himself has seen these “d*ck pics”

quote:

“I’ve seen way more penises than I’ve ever wanted to see in my life.”

“That’s, yeah… You know, actually… This sounds horrible, but I’m actually glad and fortunate it’s just dicks, it’s just blow job pictures, it’s just that type of stuff.”

"One wonders who else Twitter may "sell" their information to."

Anyone with a credit card (they don't take cash). Including the FBI and other government agencies.

Same as all of the other social media companies.

I expect this same information will soon come out regarding Alexa, google mini, etc. Same thing that happened with the smartphone facebook app. If it is installed on your phone, they have the right to activate the microphone, camera and gps device any time they want and record everything they hear and see. You gave them the right when you installed the app.

People are idiots. For the most part.

If you're using Windows 10 OS and you haven't disabled the key logging function every keystroke you make is being logged.

Also some recent HP computers have a key log function that was "accidentally" left active.

I'd call you all paranoid but you probably understate the threat.

On topic the s-storm in the media from the unsupported word from a Democrat congressman about a comment allegedly made by Donald in a private conversation ( denied by other witnesses ) has served nicely to harm American reputation and allow them to ignore that Donald's Korean diplomacy has started talks between the warring parties and N. Korea will have diplomats and athletes competing in the Olympics. ( The diplomats are going for gold in lying through their teeth and being ready to murder the athletes if they try and escape )

That's probably the most successful friendly gesture between the countries in fifty odd years.

Oh, it is. They just changed the wording. Follow the path I listed and look.

Btw, my Dad's computer just quit playing music. No sound. "Reload" Windows and it's back. Every update rewrites the operating system and moves the buttons around. My copy of Nero won't play Blu-ray anymore. They changed how they dealt with permissions. No way to fix. Too bad. So sad.

Almost enough to make me move the drive to my basement machine running XP, but just buying a $26 Samsung player was easier.

For those of you who closely follow the news, you can tell the war has suddenly gone very hot.

I normally try to post-up teases to pieces I find of interest, hoping y'all will find the info intriguing enough to perhaps visit the source and read/absorb the rest of the material (and, perhaps, pursue further study).

What I've posted-up from CTH below is very nearly the entire piece, however; it's a great read, and...important.

I've followed the Treehouse for six years now; Sundance is an amazing investigative reporter, and equally impressive wordsmith.

quote:

The System is Actively Working To Defend Itself
Sundance, Jan. 16, 2018

People often attempt to describe the larger umbrella of control with terms like “Deep State”, the “Administrative State”, the “Establishment”, the “industrial media”, and other descriptive word assemblies. The inherent goal is trying to describe various alignments and connections of institutional government with private sector social and financial interdependency.

It is, in essence, what we generally describe as “The System”.

The presidency of Donald John Trump is an existential threat to that system. A John Galt per se’. President Trump represents an uncontrollable, unaligned independent, free-thinking change-agent; a disruptor who exists entirely outside of the system’s ability to influence favorable action.

It is a remarkable dynamic to witness.

To fathom the disruptive nature of the inherent conflict it helps to remember that roughly half of the U.S. demographic has been institutionally led to a point where their sense of being -amid the matrix of life- is defined by their acceptance of the system’s inherent disposition of collectivism.

Half of the U.S. electorate have no concept of freedom, individualism or, in essence, their own cause-and-effect relationship within their outcome.

All elements, people, organizations and entities, who depend on the continuance of the command and control structure within the system, are now focused intensely on eliminating the disruption that is Donald John Trump.

The defenders of the disruption, Trump supporters, are people who value their largest ‘sense-of-self’ within simple concepts of freedom, individualism and liberty.

The conflict between the collectivists and the individualists is where we see the visible representative of individual freedom known as President Trump under an unrelenting and vicious attack.

In large measure this conflict is so consequential it is more openly visible than we have ever seen before amid the world of politics. Think about it.

I mean really think about it.

For the past 24 months the entire enterprise of society to include media, entertainment, sports, business and commerce has focused exclusively on U.S. politics and Donald Trump.

Every conversation, every-single-minute of every-single-media-broadcast was about candidate Trump, and is currently about President Trump, nothing else.

The system is pulsating every second of every day around President Trump.

Right now, to those control agents, nothing else matters except President Trump.

Put your reference point back about three years and ask yourself if you can ever recall a time when 1,440 minutes of every day, every word, every topic, every action, everything, was centered around the same entity or issue.

That’s how inherently adverse the larger system is to the disruptive change-agent we know as President Trump.

It’s really remarkable when you think about it in full scale.

Never before has this taken place. Never before has a single entity commanded 100% of all adverse attention from the dependents within the system.

The relationship between the intra-connected dependents within our nation, and their place amid the hierarchy of control, is why institutional media and institutional government are in complete synergy of purpose.

Those who have held power over our national economic and social fabric are apoplectic about their inability to stop President Trump from burning through the horsehair and dropping the sword of Damocles upon their collective throne.

Burning through that horsehair is the Big Ugly.

The moment when the horsehair finally breaks, is the moment when everything changes.

All systems are currently working to ensure he is stopped.

There are trillions-of-trillions at stake.

Almost a century of carefully carried out central planning, spanning multiple generations of nudge-by-nudge action, had the U.S. system positioned on the cusp of full autonomous control. Every outcome within the system was planned to exacting and specific control detail...

...and at the very last second, of the very last minute, of the very last hour, free people stopped the entire system – and elected Donald John Trump as the president.

Remarkable.

Well, the lie they told, then forgot it was a lie, then were dumbfounded when it turned out to be a lie, has petered out. No collusion

Next.

Repeat above.
