I really do not understand the thought process of DACA. So a person illegally drags their family across the border. Because of this, we are supposed to reward the kids with citizenship? No, I don't get it. It just incentivizes illegal immigration. The Dems would never be in favor of this if it weren't for the belief that it will produce more Dem voters. It's got nothing to do with the well being of our country, but just securing power for the political elite. Why not reward the kids of murderers? Same thing. Disgusting.

Trump has learned the lesson of the 1986 Amnesty to get the cheddar FIRST and then pay for it.

What surprises me is (thus far, anyway) there's been no real discussion in the anti-Trump media about the proposed end to the Nicaraguan TPS program, in 2019:

https://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-immigration -protections/u-s-to-end-protected-status-for-nicar aguan-immigrants-in-2019-idUSKBN1D704X

This is a group of people who fled a hurricane - IN 1999 - and haven't returned home yet.

Threat has passed, folks. Shit or get off the pot - you've had NINETEEN YEARS to become legal citizens. Do it, or go home.

The officials said the administration would support any effort by the U.S. Congress to find a more permanent solution for the Nicaraguans.

That's an easy one. It's like I said - shit, or get off the pot. Take the test, become a citizen, PAY YOUR TAXES, and follow the rules like the rest of us.

Or.

GO HOME.

Simple.

It's not racism. It's not discrimination. It's not "evil" or the "apocalypse"...it's the LAW. I don't care if they're workers from Nicaragua, or redhead calendar models from Ireland...if they're not legal, they need to choose. Become legal, or go home - because, without US Citizenship..."home" is Nicaragua.

Not the USA.

We were nice enough to shelter you when your home country was devastated by a natural disaster. You're welcome. We let you stay here, illegally (but "protected")...FOR NINETEEN YEARS. You're welcome. You've had plenty of time to become citizens in the last two decades. What? You haven't bothered? Aww, that's a shame. You have 12 months - see? We're being nice. AGAIN.

Choose.

Like I said...I'm amazed the press hasn't picked this one up yet.

And, I think his decision to go open-door on the DACA/wall meeting was genius.

It's about time the senate-critters and congress-critters had to perform IN FRONT OF THE PEOPLE.

Too long, they've been able to hide behind "privacy" and "closed doors". This is a huge (YUGE) step towards making elected officials behave properly, and hold them accountable for their actions, when it comes to policy, debates, negotiations, and law creation.

Let the people SEE what their officials are actually doing.

Or not doing.

This could be a monster step towards draining the swamp, and its his way of removing the filters from EVERYONE in that room, much the way he's removed his own filters through his constant tweets. If the people SEE what the officials are actually doing...and are able to decide for themselves whether or not they like the people they elected...it could be a real housecleaning in the mid-terms.

MAGA.

This was posted-up on CTH back in April by "wolfmoon1776" - it's also perfect (and relevant, considering the topic du jour is DACA).

A fitting title to this essay would be "Optimal Solutions":

quote:

Well, I don’t really have to do any holding together, now that I figured out what Trump is up to. He is shaking things out, but counting on Trump gravity to pull things back together as he moves along. He is moving “forward” at speeds 0bama could not even dream of.

You and I will be anti-Trump trolls one day and MAGA heroes the next. Get used to it. Trump-speed is the new normal. Some will call it flip-flopping, but that’s not what it is. Trump is dodging and weaving through reality faster than the reality can react to disrupt his plans.

I was explaining this to my wife. This is a roller-coaster now. Trump is no longer waiting for people to keep up. He is taking his bewildering art-of-the-deal campaign schtick into geopolitics, and for a lot of people who can’t keep up or hold on, it will be a rough ride.

Trump is no longer playing only with evil and cunning players who are still predictable, easily beatable dopes, like Hillary. He is playing against killers, with his own team of killers, and all the while he has scheming creeps like Hillary, BGI, SPLC, and the neocons gunning for him. Snake Ryan ready to bite when nobody is looking. “Warhead” McCain screaming for Russian blood. Psycho Kim and Samoa 0bama plotting some kind of intrigue to take him down. And THOSE are the lightweights.

This is the majors now. Trump has to outwit world-class adversaries and “frenemies” by defining the deals that they will agree to. One minute they will think Trump is their friend – the next minute, a cunning, bitter foe. And he has to do this with evil cheerleaders like Warhead, Linderace, Dipsy Dowd, Maggie Haterman, and Fake Yapper trashing him or praising him alternately, no matter which way he goes. They can’t keep up, either.

Neither can many around him. I think that half of the problem with advisers crashing into each other is they don’t realize what Trump is doing.

And people will trash you, and they will trash me. Get used to it. I’ve already caught plenty of people mocking me. Well, just wait a week in Trump time. Look stupid and conned by Trump one minute, and you look like a sage three days later.

Trump will not find perfect solutions. He will find OPTIMAL solutions. We cannot ask for more. Trump has stood by and watched Perfect murder Good for 8 years – maybe longer. He’s not gonna do it. He’s going to deliver the best outcome possible, and he’s not waiting for us to feel relaxed about it.

Best presidency ever! Just hang on. More winning is coming, but a lot of people are going to scream that it’s all over at EVERY turn.

The best way through this is to define viewpoints, not people, because people will shift as they change position and velocity in Trump gravity. Bash the neocon, warmonger, and dopey globalist positions – not the people who are going to hold them one moment and come loose from them later. Trump is Jupiter moving through the asteroid belt. He is going to pull people into his orbit. A few will get slung off into space, but most will come along for the ride of their lives.

I am ON the Trump Train for good, even if I scream that I want off and can’t take it. In the end, I only want to scream “TOO MUCH WINNING!!!”

Ohio Representative, and Judiciary Committee member, Jim Jordan appears on Fox News with Martha MacCallum to discuss the senate testimony of Fusion GPS founder Glenn Simpson and the release of the transcript by Senator Dianne Feinstein.

Jim Jordan is flying circles directly over the target. The evidence he has gathered and witnessed first-hand, in combination with his sense of ‘where this is going’, is in direct alignment with CTH independent research. –FULL BACKSTORY–

Some of you might be aware of our efforts in the past 36 hours to pin down the facts surrounding the Steele Dossier and the FBI use in obtaining a FISA warrant. This issue surrounding the FISA warrant is the cornerstone of both the Russian narrative and the 2016 DOJ/FBI investigation into candidate Donald Trump.

The next outline from CTH will be important. [Hi James]

A Political Battle Over Dossiers, FISA Warrants and Surveillance, Clouds A Much Bigger Story
CTH, Jan. 10, 2018

...We are no longer taking it for granted a FISA warrant was ever given to the DOJ because NO-ONE can prove a FISA warrant exists.

Heck, no-one can even point to anything that directly claims a FISA warrant was even requested.

There are inferences, suspicions, media reports based on anonymous leaks, but no direct or reasonable evidence beyond innuendo.

We are eighteen months past the reported origination dates, and there’s not a single official who will state a 2016 FISA warrant was applied for or granted.

Therefore, we must begin to question that basic assumption.

Some very good info in this thread lately. I'd been away for a few days and enjoyed catching up.

Draining the swamp was one of his campaign promises; I've seen lots of evidence to suggest this is indeed happening.

My guts are telling me the draining is about to go very public.

Not yet, I don't think. This MUST wait until the midterms and preferably after 45 is reelected in '20. The MSM will scream political witch-hunt, fascism in action, etc. (as mentioned here earlier). I think there's far too much risk in going after them prior to 2020. The wheels of justice turn slowly, as we've always been told. No need to change that now.

Most everyone here knows full well the myriad crimes (and God only knows how many we're not privy to) committed by HRC, Podestas, Abedin, DW-S/Awan Bros., the whole fvcking cabal, all the way up to BHO.

Who from that group gets indicted and perp-walked? When and under authority of whom does this happen?

That the MSM throws their full weight behind the above mentioned players makes it nearly impossible to foresee a scenario whereby these people are publicly exposed, much less indicted.

Can you even imagine the degree of social unrest that would erupt in every dindu community across the country if BHO were brought up on charges?

It's still a pipe-dream for me. Albeit one that I'll continue to hold on to.

I could be wrong but I think the corruption is limited to a number of Deep State folks and others tied to Clinton and Obama. I think there are Dems and Reps that are not tied to this corruption. For them, once the evidence has been uncovered and there is no doubt on guilt, you simply tell them it is time to either get on the train or get run over it. When the dirty laundry is aired and they don't pick the right side, they will end up covered in mud.

I should note that I am referring to the Fusion GPS / Dossier / FISA scandal.

Washington is inherently corrupt with the way money is managed and moved and influence is peddled. They all have their hands dirty from that respect.

Some FISA related copy pasta:

"It's becoming clear. DOJ-NSD and FBI were conducting unjustified surveillance on Trump through FISA-702 inquiries in order to pass along info to Obama and Clinton. These FISA inquiries were likley not sanction by a FISA court approved warrant. Rogers, Director of NSA, somehow picked up on this and ran a by the book compliance audit of 702(17) activity. The conspirators became spooked and needed an "insurance policy" to point to as a "justification" in the (then) unlikely event they get caught.

My theory is that DOJ-NSD conferred with Clinton/DNC on how to build this insurance policy. Clinton referred them to their group Fusion GPS, whom Clinton attorney Elias had consulted for dirt earlier or contemporaneously, and DOJ brought in Asst AG Bruce Ohr recognizing that he already had past dealings with Glenn Scott. It was probably Ohr who suggested that they bring in Steele to compile the already existing Trump oppo research into a form that appears like a true intel dossier. FBI paid Fusion, Fusion paid Steele, Steele delivered the dossier. McCain, who was also sniffing around, learned of this and purchased in from Fusion. Fusion, not realizing the full scope of the dossier's purpose, probably had no issues with selling it to McCain. McCain may have and probably independently brought it to the Dep Dir of Counter Intel Priestap, who, having allegedly told Comey not to disclose the investigation to oversight, already knew of the dossier's existence.

Meanwhile, Bruce Ohr's wife, Nellie, who was a contract employee of Fusion applied for a HAM radio license. Who had the other radio?

In October of 2016, the compliance report informs Rogers that 702(17) inquiries were being abused. This validates the question; were there ever any FISA warrants to being with? It essentially means that intel employees were accessing data and pulling inquiries without proper authorization. Rogers has the FISA Court halt any and all 702(17) activity. The Director of Nat Intel, James Clapper, then internally jockeys to remove Rogers from NSA Dir position. Then Trump wins (MAGA!). Rogers still senses fvckery is afoot, goes to Trump Tower on Nov 17, without advising any superiors, and the next day Trump abruptly moves his entire transition HQ from Trump Tower to his Golf Resort in NJ. It can be assumed Rogers advised Trump he's being surveilled.

This barely scratches the surface."

My take, for what it's worth, based on hours spent combing the 'net?

The leeches aren't leaving voluntarily; they're accepting offers they can't refuse.

And the leeches are providing intel in return for being allowed to exit public service with some semblance of dignity.

Interesting if true...

Trump’s EPA Is on Course to Retire Half Its Staff
Tim Pearce / @timbpearce / January 09, 2018

Due to a series of buyouts and retirements, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) could cut its workforce by half by the end of President Donald Trump’s first term in office, The Washington Examiner reports.

Several agencies in the Trump administration are focused on a leaner workforce and cutting spending. The EPA is leading the pack. It is on track to reduce the size of the agency anywhere from 25 to 47 percent.

“We’re proud to report that we’re reducing the size of government, protecting taxpayer dollars and staying true to our core mission of protecting the environment,” EPA administrator Scott Pruitt said in a statement to The Washington Examiner.

At the start of 2018, EPA employed 14,162 workers. Through Pruitt’s series of buyouts and generous retirement packages, as well as normal retirements, up to 47 percent of employees will leave the agency in the next five years.

Trump initiated a hiring freeze in Jan. 2017 that will prevent retirees being replaced by new hires.

My sense is that Obama and his minions got rid of as many patriots (honest people) in positions of power as they could and replaced them with their foot soldiers, including in the media. The amount of evidence is overwhelming and there are no coincidences.

Who will bring accountability back to govt!???

If there are no real consequences beyond losing office, what is to deter future subversion of our country?

We need another Joe McCarthy, maybe more.

Who IS bringing accountability back to govt?

President Donald J. Trump; there is plenty of evidence (depending on where one sources their news) to corroborate this.

There is evidence to suggest he's bringing accountability back to the mainstream news media, as well. Not bad, considering he's not yet a year in office, and considering who owns, operates and finances the MSM.

Confirmation: DOJ and FBI Used “Steele Dossier” for Application To FISA Court for Search Authority on Trump Campaign

It can be difficult to see through the wording to understand the accurate story. Sara Carter and Fox News are both confirming the DOJ and FBI used the Steele Dossier to get FISA-702 Data Surveillance Authority allowing them to spy on Trump campaign officials.

In the latest developments, as reported by Sara Carter and Fox News, the DOJ and FBI used the sketchy ‘Steele Dossier’ as the foundation for their FISA application. WATCH:

Was the DNC/Clinton campaign-funded dossier used to obtain Trump FISA warrant?
By Sara Carter, January 10, 2018

The unverified dossier alleging connections between President Trump’s campaign and the Russians was used as evidence by the FBI to gain approval from a secret court to monitor members of Trump’s team, this reporter has learned.

A large portion of the evidence presented in the salacious 35-page dossier put together by former British spy Christopher Steele, has either been proven wrong or remains unsubstantiated. However, the FBI gained approval nevertheless to surveil members of Trump’s campaign and “it’s outrageous and clearly should be thoroughly investigated,” said a senior law enforcement source, with knowledge of the process.

Multiple sources told this reporter that the dossier was used along with other evidence to obtain the warrant from the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court, known as FISC. The sources also stressed that there will be more information in the coming week regarding systemic “FISA abuse.”

“(The dossier) certainly played a role in obtaining the warrant,” added another senior U.S. official, with knowledge of the dossier. “Congress needs to look at the FBI officials who were handling this case and see what, if anything, was verified in the dossier. I think an important question is whether the FBI payed anything to the source for the dossier.”

FB, but where are the grand juries and prosecutions of the criminals? I'm getting very impatient. Lerner retired with full pension. Hillary remains on the loose. Comey remains unindicted... Srzoak or whatever his name is remains unindicted.

Rod Rosenstein and Mueller appear to be involved, surely Comey, Lynch, and her contemptible, literally, lying predecessor.

I'm impatient for some hint of justice and accountability to come.

Sessions is a huge disappointment.
